Last couple of days I've watched World War Z and Sphere.

Bought the reaping on bluray, glad i only spent a couple of quid,definately a one watch movie
i also bought the 70th anniversary edition of wizard of oz on bluray, its never looked better and the extras are really good to.
Finally the last starfighter on blu, again looks really good, and a real childhood favourite of mine

Watched Gravity and really enjoyed it. Couldn't watch it again though.

Is the Last Starfighter the one with the kid who wins the arcade game? Or the John Boy Walton one? Or are they the same I can never remember!

I picked up the Phantasm box set for £3 at a car boot (4 films, apparently making a 5th). Love these films, so crap but good. Turning people into dwarfy zomboids.

just watched sin city a dame to kill for, i liked it a lot, loved the first movie to, not often you see something thats different.
went to the local drive in to watch the Equaliser with Denzel washington, enjoyed it, well worth a watch, took a while to get going but yeah interesting stuff and having never been to a drive in the experiance was well worth it

Now this was the film I wanted to watch with four friends on Saturday, but was OUT-VOTED and ended up watching Ouija.

Not an easy film to watch (for me anyway, I'm not a Horror fan) and it will put you off using Dental Floss for a while :shock:

I'm desperate to see it, just can't find a free night yet and it is 2 1/2 hours long. Looks decent, rare to get a proper sci-fi film these days.

Went to see Interstellar last night. Still buzzing about it. There is simply too much to talk about with this film, suffice to say I (like many others) think this is a master piece in the making.

Visually it is something else. The story manages to be big and small at the same time and the bredth of ambition is something we haven't seen on screen for a long time. But with all that it is still an intense, intimate, emotional film.

Put simply this is a film everyone needs to see, and see it on the biggest baddest screen you can find (I watched it on the 4k screen in Leicester Square).

Oh, and the full trailers for the Hobbit (my tickets for the 12th are in hand) and Exodus which played before the film are awsome.

Also watched Chef yesterday, not to get lost in the mega hype of Interstellar, Chef was a vey nice, harmless film that you simply just smile at and move on from, enjoyable but one for the sofa on a Sunday afternoon I think.

Interstellar is fantastic.....in my opinion. I say that cause I can see why people wouldn't like it. I saw it for the second time tonight and it all made a lot more sense second time round and it moved me a lot. Being parent I seem to blubber a lot more at films now. Cracking movie.

Got to agree with you mate, I enjoyed it but can see why the critics have picked holes in it and why others might not like it...

Mazerunners was really cool if a little 'teenage' especially towards the end, looking forward to the next installments.

Ninja Turtlse was real good fun. Took the little un and his mates, it kept them transfixed and quiet all the way through. I asked them if they liked it and they said it was the best film they had ever seen, I almost agreed... well maybe not but it was so much better than I was expecting.

Watched the new Robocop yesterday. Not as bad as I thought it would be, a few nods to the original but not so much an action film as a film about a bloke who's been turned into a robot, if you know what I mean.

Also watched Hummingbird with Jason Statham. Not what I was expecting at all but an interesting little film nevertheless, simply because its not what you normally get from our Jase
