latest film/ dvd you have seen

Ha - yes to M.A.S.K the movie. As a wannabe writer I actually produced a M.A.S.K. script when I worked with small production company years ago, nothing ever came of it, but since watching the TV show end to end and reading the comics again (as well as getting the toys) I plan on revisiting the script and giving it another go once I have got on with my current writing project. Obviously as the IP lies with Hasbro there is nothing I could do with it, but it is a lot of fun. If you strip back the cartoonish elements and try to avoid the trap GI Joe fell into there is a great human story there coupled with a 'Team James Bond' vibe.

I was going to focus on the true story as to why a single middle aged man has a young boy living with him and why he forces him to call him dad.... T-Bob is really some sort of evil control bot :)

I watched a movie called Ecstasy last night. It was based on a book that was written by Irvine Welsh who wrote Train Spotting. The movie last night was sh*t.

Old film, but watched Alfie with Michael Caine in it last night. Decent film. After that saw Made in Dagenham on TV. Another good film with similar feminist themes.

watched oz the great and powerful at flicks with boy and sad to say its really good ,the monkey had me in tears .could have watched it again straight after .if you got kids over 6 they will love it

Watched Piranah DD on DVD the other night. It really is one of the worst films I've ever seen. A few topless birds running about but the 'plot' is horrendous, even allowing for the fact I wasn't expecting much, it really is primary school standard. So bad that even lots of topless or bikini clad birds couldn't save it.

It's not even 'so bad it's good' it's just utter shite. If someone offers to lend you a copy of the DVD punch them in the face!

I thought see was the best thing in the film tbh!!

Watched 127 hours on tv the other week and was engrossed. Ok so the majority of the film is focused on a block and a boulder but the way Danny Boyle has directed made it very enthralling. Was a bit disappointed with the arm cutting but they probably cut the worst of it.

Mate, the best thing you can do with a piranha DD DVD is to throw it in the fire. It truly is utter shite

Watch Iron Man: Rise of the Technovores yesterday, can't really say it was great, OK, i'm not a massive fan of the Japanees animation style so wasn't as taken with it as most seem to be and the voice tallent was nowhere near as good as it should have been, actually nor was the story, maybe one for the die hard IRon Man fan but nothing else.

Watched Hotel Transylvannia with the kids as well, loved that a very sweet story, perfect for kids of all ages :)

Got a whole stack of Discs to watch over the next few weeks...
