DOH!

It was grand. Wasn't as busy as last year but good craic anyway and I met Jeremy Bulloch, Dave Prowse and Kenny Baker just as they were leaving :D

Have some pics here but I haven't uploading them onto the PC yet. Will stick them up when I do.

Well my offerless 20 back LXW arrived today, despite asking for it to be packed well. It arrived in brown paper and some bubble wrap. For **** sake  It still looks OK in my one and only acrylic case.

Keep a look out for a Greedo for me guys(cardback only prefered)

James,

Nice pick up there with the offerless LXWP. Are going after a full set of the first 21 MOC.

Grant. 8)

"full set of first 21 MOC" I wish- in fact I dare not even wish, my wife wants to kill me as it is  As much as collections like your 12 Backs really, really impress me and I would love to have even a set of beaters at this stage, all I want is a complete set of debut cardbacks  I am pretty close, I'm just counting the correct movie they came out on ie. Star Wars for the first 21 not necessarily 12 backs for the first 12 etc. I do have all bar Greedo for the 2nd wave on offerless 20 backs. I only bought the LXWP because it was 40 pounds- which I think was a great price despite the damage?

I think it survived the crap packing job OK. I sent him a polite message asking why he didn't use a box when I asked him to take extra care in sending it to me. Depending on his reply I will neg the ******. He is not a Star Wars trader he sells old cameras and other vintage stuff. Bet he doesn't send cameras in bubble wrap and brown paper  It's my first Star Wars MOC, the bubbles are a lot tougher than I expected. All my other MOCs are mainly yellowed, cracked fragile suckers.

James,

I hear what your saying on only collecting card backs but now that you have started down the dark path of collecting MOCs for ever it will dominate your path. No seriously tho buying MOCs can be addictive. My first and supposedly only MOC was a Palitoy 45 back Bossk AFA 90 which set me back a whopping £120 but this unfortunately inspired me to buy more and more. Good luck anyway mate.

Never a truer word spoken!

MOC collecting is like smoking crack Jimster be careful before you know it you will be to far gone!

nice pick up James, £40 doesn't sound bad at all. I hate people who send things in the post like that, I bought a Spiderman boxed set the other week, the seller described the box as in fair condition and then posted it in a carrier bag - needless to say it wasn't in fair condition when it arrived

Some people have no common sense, or are just too tight to box things up properly

One of my rarer Palitoy MOC's was sent that.

I was not happy to say the least!!!

Nice LXW. 8)

What a shame about the LXW James :( ,make sure you neg the ******!!

I opened a nice package today, not only did it get me one step closer to finishing a multipack but I had a free gift!

Might not look like much but the ERG baggie is really quite hard to track down, its an unmarked heat sealed Kenner baggie that as far as I am aware is just right for a multipack!

The skinny little fella on the left is actually a Palitoy baggie (notice no Kenner logo)

Thanks to the baggie king : Del!

Congrats on the baggies Joe. I didn't know the ERG also came in an ESB-h. I know it would have been a big task, but I wish the archive feature could have listed what baggie types each figure was available in.

Yep my man WSD was the freebie  Awesome , I am so happy lol

Joe

Congrats on your latest pick ups Joe.

Grant. 8)

Its always good getting a vintage item in the post.

nice pick up on droids and ewoks figures jimmy, altough as you might know that vlix is probably a custom figure. (as far as i can tell from the picture his head is hand sculpt and his crouch seems to have paintloss and molded in tan/yellow underneath.)
