I knew Palitoy x-wings didn't have electrics but i didn't realise the grey version had the button you learn something new.

I never knew there even was a Palitoy grey one! Have to add it to my wants list now.

Coco do you have inserts with the box?

Sadly not mate

Box is still in great shape though and displays perfectly

Coco as far as I'm aware there's no difference between the white and grey bd boxes - so you should be able to pick up some genuine inserts pretty cheap. I think my boxed and inserts white one was about £15 as it didn't have any guns :)

Your box is the same as mine but does yours have a white X-Wing insdie?

This is my white Palitoy version from the European Jedi Battle Damaged box in the other link I posted earlier:-

Is your the same?

Excellent 8) So both the grey version and white version were available in the same release box!

Thats a new one to me and another variant to find :D Thanks Spoons ;)

no problem Stephen :D - there's always loads on ebay

just added a pic of the inserts on the previous post FYI

there's no stamped number but I don't think all the pal and bi inserts had them, not sure how it was determined though

I still have a few inserts from I was a kid that don't have stamps so I think your right ;)

Did you and Lafos do a deal on the Palitoy Dagobah or is it still available?

Ah, talking about inserts. My favourite topic.

The European inserts don't have stamps and are also made from a different kind of cardboard.

I discovered that to my shame when I combined a Palitoy DV Tie box with Kenner inserts. Still looking for the Palitoy ones now.

that's good to hear. I've owned a couple of tri tie interceptors with and without numbered inserts. The blank ones looked pretty old but with all the repros floating about you can never be sure

I know the tri logo rancors don't have numbers

I pm'd lafos with a price for the dagobah a few weeks back, but I've not heard a thing from him..

I was asking £60, which may have seemed a fair bit. Simon posted that he thought £70 was good for one with instructions a few days later so I thought it was a fair price.

Are you interested?

I'd like to keep all my Pal items but they all have a price :)

and Capetown my DV Tie has the original pal inserts, how do they differ from the Kenner ones? I'm failry sure they're numbered.

Do the regular TIE inserts differ too? They used the same outer box, but the Pal TIE has a sticker

Spoons.

Nice X Wing mate. Its good to see the original box it was released in. for Christmas back in 83 or 84 I got that vehicle but it would have most likely been the Jedi boxed example.

Cheers again.

Grant.
