Latest Acquisitions

I don't know if this counts as a latest acquisition but I couldn't think where else to post it. This is my first attempt at some AI art using ChatGPT, I asked it to create an image of Jawas playing football in a desert with two suns (Tatooine) and after a few tweaks, this was the result! I thought it was a really cool picture so got it printed on a 40x30cm canvas which only cost £15. I now have a unique 'artwork' hanging on my office wall

New here but this is awesome! Thanks for posting it. I shared it with my son who used to work at the Lucas ranch many years ago.

I found this droid at the local charity shop. Not flat head screw and very wobbly joints, but I couldn't resist his dullness for 5 euros.

This was a nice surprise, one of my 2026 goals found before 2025 is out! I had been looking for one of these for a month or so and while they are not that rare, it was very hard for me to resist buying a lesser condition copy just to complete the set faster. But luckily I saw this mint copy come up for sale a few hours after it was posted for a fair price:



This completes my ex-rental set of the films on VHS



And here's my new small VHS collection: 1984-1986 ex-rentals, 1988 first home releases, and the 1994 digitally remastered versions which I've owned since new.



Can I resist buying any more?!

This definitely feels like Christmas 1980, man I love the ESB logo/box art.

The Tauntaun and Laser Cannon were the last two I needed to complete my Palitoy and ESB shelf. The Probe droid is just brilliant, never had one as a kid but I’m making up for it now - my wife is getting fed up with me randomly making the noise, she’s going to love it when I put batteries in the blaster

As a bonus the Spider-Man annual is from 1980 as well
