That white sabre had me scratching my head till I realised the photo was B&W

It's time for another update of me. Here's a few new additions to my POCH/PBP collection....

1.Dengar (POCH) - Mixed Family Legs from COO's #1 and #2 Both of which are marked ©1980 LFL!! Plus some well dodgy paint work.
2.Darth Vader (POCH) - Not the most exciting of variants but the below image highlights some of the typical POCH traits.
3.Princess Leia Organa (POCH) - Melt marks, poor sonic welding, pale hands and a PENIS!!!

Some close ups of the above 3 POCH figures....

4.Snowtrooper (PBP) - This was part of a Christmas display in my local vintage collectables shop. The owner made me wait till he'd changed his display over which wasn't that bad is he only asked for a tenner for this super minty PBP snowtrooper!!
5.Han Trench Coat (Kenner) - Another variant I'd somehow never bothered to look for but managed to pick up off SWFUK. I'm not sure what collectors call him but the face sculpt is more "simple" on these COO#2's.

Weird tale about this recent purchase.
Back in 1990 myself, Lee Bullock and another collector called Jon attended Stoke Toyfair (when Stoke had a toyfair). Jon had bought along his 12" Boba Fett doll complete with mint box and even the original Palitoy catalogue mailer. He first offered it to us for £35 but we both passed on it. He ended up trading it with a dealer for a MIB Tie Interceptor. The dealer then told me that he could get £100 for it as it had the mailer - I thought he was on meth. For years I kicked myself for not buying it.

Anyway, this is the only time I've ever seen this mailer with the Fett, neither has Lee and he's seen 99.9% of 12" stuff!

So I came across this listing for an ESB Fett complete with mailer. Bought it and asked the seller where he got it from, 'a toyfair about 20 years ago' - which kind of ties in. Then I receive it and send pics to Jon to see what he thought - it couldn't, could it?!

Yep, seems it could be the very same one according to Jon :) So after 25 odd years, I finally get to own it :)

are you sure the coo just hasnt rubbed off? jesus!

Bill, That DSD is a true gem for any variant collector. Why the chrome seems to rub off these so easily is a mystery, but here's a photo of the raised bar COO on my example to show people what makes them so special !!

To add even more randomness to the mix in my collection (and I thought that bubblebath bottles were my limit).. Here's an uncut printed sheet of Ewok Plush labels, double sided. Verified by Christian and Mattias as being a genuine known item.

Bloomin big sheet so God only knows how I'll mount it and display it, but to my eye it really is a lovely thing :D

So it was you that did the deal first!
I saw that and sent Rich McClean a PM as I know he's a big Ewok fan. By the time he picked up the PM it had finished with no bids. He sent the seller a message but you must've beat him to it. Great item and well done.

Funny story, I watched it for the whole week, PC crashed with about 30 seconds to go and I thought my bid had posted, so thought I'd won, but when my PC came back to life, it showed it had closed with no bids indeed. I emailed the chap within the next 30 seconds to ask if he would set-up a BIN, he did and sold my way a minute later. Close call! :o

Bit of a deal outside of eBay for this one
So tempted to have it graded
