Quite chuffed with this one. Boxed Palitoy first issue X-Wing. £40.

Liberated from a toy shop in Glasgow, was down for the day and decided to pop in for a look as I'd been told they had some vintage and it's so rare to see them in shops these days. Was stunned to see a few boxed complete vehicles and a boxed Yoda hand puppet as well as some seriously beat up loose figs.

X-Wing is a bit grubby but plan to upgrade it. It was complete though and even came with original box inserts. It's not perfect, but looks great on display and just love that box :D

Wow. Whereabouts is the shop? That's a cracking find.

Hehe, I've had a couple of PMs about the shop.

It's called Pippens Toys in the Gallowgate.

I'll be surprised if there's anything left by next week :D

That's a massive bargain - the inserts alone go for nearly 40 quid!

Hmm yeah the guy who owns that store is a u grader. He had a bunch of 12 backs with cut corners he u graded to get more money !

Each to their own but when I lived in Scotland I went to Scotsman models a few streets down. The shop is now closed but Stephen and Jason still do Collectormania!
I live in New Zealand now where there are few vintage collectors!

Palitoy X Wing was a BARGAIN. As said, the inserts are very sought after as they slightly different to the Kenner ones. I've seen a loose X Wing go for at tleast that. The hard part is the sticker/instruction sheet.

Cheeky little purchase - don't see too many of these knocking about and this one comes un-used and complete (even had the puncture repair kit!)

4 more for the Moc run, planning on getting one of each character on any card, then probably upgrade to whichever cardback I like each figure on most!
Tri logo Stormie with a bespin blaster
Tsukuda Weequay
65 back Palitoy Madine
65 back Palitoy Logray

Makes a change seeing you picking up a great item instead of selling them! Looks awesome!

Is that speeder French or Spanish? Like that a lot. I have a pbp speeder but not a box.

Nice pickup by the way.

Cheers. From references I have found it's the Spanish version. The speeder engine is brown, but the box has a £2.99 price sticker.. didn't think we got this version over here.

The pbp speeder has a bronze die cast engine. Very cool pickup.

Some of the photos on the front of these boxes (speeder) has me scratching my head. Why would an Ewok be standing by a Speeder with Trooper on all casual like? :D
