Well, managed to pick up a reasonably priced box to go with my original Palitoy childhood Death Star, so will go nicely with my Toltoys and Kenner version

.....just need a Meccano now...!!!

Never even knew about the existence of the Kenner (Palitoy) Death Star - you learn something new every day in this hobby!

This is my latest, and possibly rarest item. Original Helix order form that also doubles up as an in-store poster. Only heard of one of these in a collection so these are very hard to come by. Shows some of the prototype products in the photo along with some POS that I don't think were ever produced.

Wow. That Death Star run is something else. The Kenner one is a Kenner Canada I believe, and the Aussie one is made of much thicker material for those heavy handed Australians.

Wow nice Death Stars. I live in New Zealand and so far have yet to hear of anyone who owns a NZ Toltoys one! Even on the NZ collectors forum.

Picked up some cardbacks this weekend, almost all clipper. but the wraparound was torn of from the front by most of them... and ofcourse all names cut out :shock:

Some interesting stuff dropped through my door this week.

A nice Palitoy 65 back C-3PO. This one most certainly isn't a Toytoni and quite tough to find a genuine one.

A bit off piste but a few of our older members might remember these. I acquired two lovely complete Weetabix card sets, Robin Hood from 1974 and Asterix from 1976. These came free in packets of Weetabix breakfast cereal. When I was a kid I used to love the free gifts in cereal packets.

Just took delivery of this lovely 12a back Stormtrooper - he's had a couple of little scrapes in his time but I'm well chuffed with him!

Two nice new additions to my PBP family...

PBP Tie Fighter Pilot Large Emblems/Scarred COO (on the right), standing next to my PBP AT-AT Emblems TFP. Very chuffed to find one in this condition with nearly all his emblems intact, as for those that don't know the white paint is very fragile. Both figures shown with the light grey PBP exclusive pilot blaster.

PBP Cloud Car Pilot White Face/Scarred COO (on the right), again excellent condition and standing next to my PBP pink face CCP. This one came via FB and was a welcome upgrade to my collection. Both figures shown with the PBP exclusive light grey guns, but only one comm link (but that's OK as they are pretty rare!!)

I remember the Asterix but not the Robin Hood ones and used to love all the freebies with cereal. I really remember having a Silver Shadow Rolls royce which was cut from the back of Weetabix as well as the classic Tom Baker Dr Who cards. Not sure what I kept hold of other than the complete set of Flash Gordon movie cards ( think they were from Weetabix), and all four Star Wars transfer sets with backdrops from Shreddies.

Ah, takes me back to when times were simpler

I think kids miss so much now.

I used to have them all. I had two older brothers who passed everything on to me so had all the Weetabix sets inc. both sets of Dr Who, Star Trek, Flash Gordon, Hanna Barbara, Disney. I also had the Shreddies Star Wars and Black Hole Shrinkie Dinks. Sold them all on eBay. There are a lot of collectors out there. Asterix was always my favourite.

Now that you mention it his pictures really are top quality -
Walkie you could set up a nice wee side business producing glamour shots of everyone's figures. We post them down and you produce a nice electronic portfolio. Hell you could do house calls and do partners at the same time :lol:
