Hi James,

Great to see you've got a copy of John's book as well - a fun read for sure.

Re those Vader baggies - were they sold to you as Factory sealed Kenner baggies? I've not seen those before - the nearest being ESB-H. Any details would be helpful.

Cheers,
Christian

Thanks for the replys guys, Pomse the book is this one i read the first 40 pages last night andDebers right it is really quite funny

Christian, Not 100% sure on my baggie types, but i got them from this guy who listed them as ESB H baggies, If you have a look at his other auctions he sold another 10 a while back if you need any more pics i can happily provide. the Vaders are stone cold mint and exactly the same variant, Either this guy has found a case of mint vaders and bagged them up or they are good i think the latter. if the seller is a member on here drop me a PM i wouldnt mind adding a couple more of these to my vader focus.

Rob top Logray booty and some lovelly looosies to boot!

I read that book a few years back, was good. I sent it on to a member here I think. More someones personal memoir than detailing any vintage SW nuggets.

Hi James,

I would be surprised if these vaders weren't in original bags but they are not ESB-H nor are they 'Kenner' in origin. I have an ESB-H Vader and I'll endeavour to post a picture of it for comparison sake. The question to ask the seller is where did this batch originate? However, IMHO at that price definitely worth the punt.

Also re the book - John is on RS. Nice guy to have a chat with, username: JBooth.

Cheers,
Christian

hi Christain, Thanks for that i will have to drop John a PM over on RS, I have mailed the seller and will see if i can get any further info from them over the baggies origin.

Great buys everyone. I love the Collect All 21 book. I need to read it again as its been a few years.

Okay I promised some vintage, so here it goes. Some of you will remember that I've had two of these 65Cs loose their bubbles in shipping to me this year with one of them being a Clipper. I decided to take the risk a 3rd time when one popped up from a seller here in the U.S. This time it made it and the bubble has a great seal. Very happy to have finely landed one.

Hey James

Am with Christian on those Vader Baggies with more inspection , the seller has many baggies and bought Loads back in the day as far as I know he does have the Odd fake one in there but most he has is the real deal both Myself and Frank got our c-3po Toy fair baggies from him , His name is Jeff and seems a very nice chap indeed , I am sure Frank Will back me up with this statement.

P.S if it wasn't for the 4 pack SW mailer which is AFA Graded I have on hold I would have gladly purchased Jeff's with no hesitation.

Cheers

Vince

Hi Vince, I have asked the question on where these baggies came from, will pop a thread up on them if I get anything back from Jeff.
