Del-your MOC's are super minty!

Ham-your R2 MOC is a real beauty & good job on the trilogo wicket removing the dings!

Andy-congrats on winning the 12bk Sandperson & the 1K at Tesco's! 8)

cheers chaps - I went and picked up my vouchers from the PO today, and although the comp was at Tesco's the vouchers are for House of Fraser???

I was hoping to save some cash on the weekly shop, now I'm going to have to treat my other half to new clothes - still can't complain :)

The sand people is very nice the only real flaw is a crack on one side of the bubble. I've got my original sand person from when I was a kid on display next to it.

I love that R2 Tig, it looks fantastic on a ESB card 8)

I've had the best week ever, first I won this 12 back Sand People by sending in a vintage picture to Tom at 'I grew up Star Wars' and on the day it arrived I won a £1k spending spree at Tesco's - I'm off to check my Euro Lottery results now :D

Talk about a winning streak! Congrats! Now share some of the luck with the rest of us.

Here's a couple small purchases I've made recently.

First is the 8 Pack box for Luke Jedi and 2nd is an early bird sticker sheet to go with the stand I got earlier this year.

Glad you snapped that box up Shawn, another hunt awaits you now for the baggies but its good fun.

Nice pick ups everyone :)

Spoons, that is amazing!!! Where was the competiton?
Shawn, that box and sticker sheet look great. Im amazed any of those sticker sheets survived, and that any ever come up for sale on their own.... Are these from a Kenner source or just a private collector? Nice find

Thanks. I picked up the stickers from another collector. The back of the sheet has a bit of a yellow tint to them now, so I believe them to be original. I also compared them to my Hasbro 2005 early bird envelope and the stickers with that set lack the copyright date and the colors look a bit different. There was a seller on ebay called 80skid or something like that who had a bunch of them for sale at one time, so there might have been an overstock find of just the stickers at some point.

Ed, I never knew there was a competition until someone from Lipton tea rang up - supposedly if you bought Lipton fruit tea at Tesco during July and used your clubcard you got entered into the draw

I didn't even do the shopping but it was my clubcard :D

Received this back from AFA/CIB this weekend.

AFA VC Jawa First Shot

As some might know, I am not the biggest fan of AFA. However, I think having vintage prototypes graded is acceptable..

Wicked VC Jason. Btw what makes it a first shot and how do you know?

The figure lacks copyright information on the back of the legs. Also, the cape is hand cut and is 1/4" shorter than the production version. This particular figure originated from The Earth in 2005. They have been a solid resource for several Vintage first shots. I teetered on getting it graded, but caved at CV and submitted it in person.
