Nice buys everyone. Ed you had a good idea a while back about putting an elastic band round the bubble. This might have saved poor Yoda. :|

Very pleased to add this chap to my trilogo run, have been looking for one for ages. Big thanks to our resident detective Joe for the heads up :)

Oh that looks way better than I thought it would! Nice pick up Edd, no probs! :)

It works very well on later non-stem Kenner and Palitoy bubbles, not so good on trilogos or miscard bubbles due to the shape and usual damage.

more great pick ups chaps. Jimbo's Vectis haul looks absolutely mint, and a real shame about Yoda - the card was peachy

I'm kicking myself today for damaging one of my latest buys. A 48B Han Hoth, yellow bubble aside it was mint bar a pen price that looked easy to remove. It probably was easy to remove by someone with half a brain but not by me and my impatience - removed some of the litho in trying to remove smudged ink

I stopped before it went too far and I'll see if Steve at UKG can salvage something. Genuinely feel a bit sick inside - damage in the post is one thing. Damage by me is worse :(

On the plus side only one Han Hoth to go to finish the Kenner run and a Pal diecast Falcon arrived today too :)

Just the landspeeder and x-wing now to complete that run

You want more palitoys? Very well then. Popped back today to see if any others had appeared. He told me these were Kenners but clearly they are not:

I did, just need to find a home for the 3PO. None are/were for me - just want these to get into the right collectors' hands and not flipped on ebay and stuff.

What a gent you are Rich :)

Just gone back 10 or so pages as i dont often get time. Great buys by everyone, but gutted about the Tri Yoda. That hurts man

Anyway, keep it up chaps :)

Wow these pages are flying recently. I assume because people's Vectis wins are arriving in droves. Sad seeing what happened to the Yoda, and brings home this year's early memory of 2 12 backs that arrived damaged, with one fully open via the eBay Global Shipping program. Just how many figures are lost each year because of transit damage?

Anyway, great pick ups everyone. Lots of MOCs (my thing). Nice clear Squid Tri looks the nuts. The lovely mixed haul of 5 there. It's like a mini Christmas everyday checking this thread each morning when I wake up.

Hello everyone!
I'm new here so I don't know much about the forums, but I hope I am posting this on the right thread.

At a local auction where I live, I recently found an auction including 5 seemingly new and sealed Star Wars figures. The only information I have about the figures is a picture.

Do these figures look original or are they fake?
The bidding ends in a couple of hours and the current bid as at around $200. If they are real the figures should definitely be worth a lot more than that, right.

What do you think, is it worth bidding on?

I would say deffo fake.
The 2 on the top left and Right don't actually exist as a Vintage MOC.
The Punchtabs on the rest look like they are Repro too …..
Guilty by association...
Walk away.
