Picked up two great things this week, firstly a tri-logo Luke Hoth courtesy of Andy X-Wing, which I spotted in the Farthest From photos! And secondly the original Tomart price guide. This was my collecting bible in the mid 90s and was pretty much the only place you could find a list of all the figures and card variations known at the time, I used to read it religiously. Most pieces I bought during that period were priced as per this book because my local dealer had it too. According to this the Luke Hoth is worth $20-40, if only :) I remember buying my original copy from the BFI Museum on the South Bank during a school art trip in 1995 for £25 which was a fortune to me at the time, no idea what happened to my original copy so it's great to finally have another one!

That's great Edd, the Luke Hoth looks a stunner 8) The original Tomarts was too my bible when I was starting to get into serious collecting in the mid 90s. There was a 'New Curiosity Shop' local to me that had SW stuff and they had a battered copy of the Tomarts which they used as a ref guide. I was blown away by the book because there was so much in there I had never seen b4
Anyway I was happy to pick up a mint copy of the original a few years ago and also picked up a mint copy of the special hard back edition of the 1997 2nd issue Tomarts that has 40 extra pages of prototypes which is awesome 8) 8)

Some lovely figures being shown off in this thread lately, I do like the Luke Hoth and Nien Nunb Tris!

Great NN & Luke Hoth- stunning 8)

Haven't got much for a while, as I've been trying to finalise a deal for some MOCs ;)

Got these two though: the Leia is an upgrade on the one I had and the Radar Laser Canon was offered to me by the husband of a friend at work. It's still sealed, although it has some edge wear from storage. The Leia came courtesy of Skywalker- thanks mate, love it! 8)

Mint Leia Cazza,
Agreed, that NN MOC of Iain's is a great card to get, one day, one day!
Awesome T-Pot Stu, that Grant doing deals with our wives eh?? Anywhere else it would be frowned upon.
Finally, awesome looking Luke Tri Edd.

Great hauls guys - most impressive!

Very happy with this fella I've now added to my eclectic little collection; short mouthed Biker Scout on 'Made in Mexico' Kenner card. It's the closest I'll ever get to a carded Ledy one!

The mini rigs & beaters were given to me for my kids by Richard McClean. A true gent. The Luke's, Leia & coins came from Rich Temple, the deal was done a while ago & we waited to hand over in person.

Let's get on to the big ones for me.

You won't be seeing me post here for a while
I sold some retro gaming stuff on eBay to fund my recent spending & now my funds have now run dry!

The Echobase event was amazing. A true community spirit with silly deals being made to look after one another & free stuff flying about left right & centre. More people need to make the effort to attend events like this, there's not a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Fact!
