Yep....shame the sticker was removed....wonder what rating it would get?

Sadly I'm 100% sure it was a cover up done by the guy that sold it on to me, so in this case I think it was for best that the stickers were removed. At least now people know that damage is there.

Here are the completely clean stickers that came off of it, no sign of any litho from the card:

As for grading, any visible damage on the card (especially that large) usually drops the card score down to 70 when graded I think. I doubt it'd grade higher as the damage detracts from the figure quite a bit when on display.

I had the same thing happen to me once with a Takara Stormtrooper. It had been sent to AFA for grading and they wouldn't grade it as they thought the sticker had been tampered with. I bought it anyway as it was an ok price and it good condition. When I received it I busted it out of the case and the sticker practically fell off revealing damage. I think the seller had sent this off to the AFA and knew it was damaged but let on to me that that was how he'd bought it and that AFA were wrong about it. I think he was surprised when i told him I'd opened it up and discovered this but I thought this was the case from the start so didn't push for a part refund.

I still have it somewhere with the sticker as a reminder. it's amazing what people think they can get away with. I know AFA have got some things wrong but in this case it was pretty obvious it had been messed with.

Her name is Ellie Mae and she was born on 2nd October at 4:09, weighing 8 lbs 6 oz. Mother and baby are fine, however baby had to have a course of Antibiotics before leaving hospital so I have only just got them both home.

This is our first, so its all a bit "what do we do now" at the moment but we seem to be getting there.

Ah mate what a great picture - congratulations to you all
She is a wee darling. Best time in the world, everything just gets better and better from now on - first Christmas, first steps first everything so enjoy every second of it :D

Congratulations mate- she looks lovely 8) I remember feeling like we'd 'borrowed' our eldest when we got him home. It all felt a bit surreal for a couple of days!
