Inspired by some more Vintage Rebellion chat I picked these annuals and storybooks up off Chris Hong. Great service, well packaged. Great price. Thanks bud.
Nice haul of annuals! I've always loved the Star Wars annuals, and they're some of the very few childhood SW items of mine that I still own.

Congratulations on a splendid addition to your collection :-)

Love the Graphics & Visuals of the Annuals on the top left and top right, the colours on the Star Wars Annual are inspired!

Had some luck in a modern paperwork lot. I'm unsure of the Palitoy AT-AT Card. Was amazed to find this between 90's confectionary wrappers.

Some great pickups. Love the annuals/storybooks and so jealous of the vintage leaflet find.

Have put collecting on back-burner for a while but am always on the lookout for books to complete my vintage book collection.

The Star Wars TV and Movie Tie-Ins Book is one of the last books I need and I've been looking for a copy for years so couldn't believe my luck when 2 turned up one after the other.

The book itself was an educational book only released in the US through lending libraries as far as I'm aware.

The first copy I found was a well used version and still has the lending log history -

Not long after finding the first that this one turned up. Couldn't believe it as it is in near mint condition and was never used for lending -

Picked up another two 41 Backs to add to my collection which takes me up to 20. I have had a good start to the year adding five new 41 backs since January, hopefully it will continue!

Been a while since I posted here but damn! that 41 Ben!!! Nice paperwork too Grant, some unusual pieces there, always a nice surprise to find stuff you didn't expect - espeically stuff like that!

I finally landed a piece I've been after for a long time - the cast and crew ESB logo paper weight complete with its original box. Just a really lovely item and it weighs a tonne!

A great piece of history in that first one, I look at it and just imagine the thoughts running through the minds of those that borrowed it all those years ago!

Never seen one of those before, great design.

Stunning Ben!

Congratulations on the lucky find Grant.

Grant - that's a great find, there's some really rare stuff there, the Airfix AT-AT flyer, Palitoy competition entry and John Menzies leaflets don't come up often.

Mark - love that paperweight! In fact everything in that pic :D

Love the Paperweight, it looks so nice you almost want to use it as a paperweight but I imagine it is too rare to risk it!

Thanks I have had a lucky start to the year with my 41 back purchases but I would imagine it will slow down at some point, hopefully there will be some Palitoy pieces I need for sale in Celebration.

Just picked up this cool 2 pack for my Luke X-Wing focus. As is often the case with these the condition isn't great, but it's quite unusual to find one with an accessory in the bubble.

As others have said seems like an unusual combination of figures but interesting none the less. Is there much difference in rarity between the two packs and the three packs?

Hi Anthony,

The red bar variant is one where an extra 'block' on R5-D4's sticker was printed red. It's something most people wouldn't even notice unless it was pointed out, but it changes a £25 figure into a £300 one.

Hope that helps :-)

Ok, I know about Red Bar R5, but what is the difference between 1 and 2, is it head size?
And by the way, that's got to be the best Red Bar R5 I've ever seen!
