Do you need right for digging in a dump?
Has some 1 not thought about doing this before?
20 acre site is a big site to dig up cost and machine wise
Why do you need the 2 guys in the UK that grade
Am just very intrested to find out more
Welcome to the forum

Jabba i do belive quite possible there is a land fill site out there same as Han thread about palitoy. Does it also mean there is a land fill site for lili ledy and all the other toy makers that made the toys. Quite possibly there was nothing dumped and they just melted everything down for the plastic

Quite possible there is old shop keepers out there who did keep boxes of carded figures. Things like this do very rare come up on ebay

Didn't think there was much wrong with the hobby other than for Jar Jar Binks

Same here Darth i did not think there was much wrong with the hobby apart from there being to many repo weapons for the loose figures. And to many things out of my price range But am very curious to find out about these land fill site if they exist or are they just a myth

Your not wrong Ron, just to dig the whole site down 0.5 metre would take two 20t machines, and three or four dumpers, 2 and a half months. And then you've got to store or get rid of all the excavated material........

Plant hire alone is going to cost over about Ã'£125,000 just to get rid of the upper levels, and as any dump is deeper than 0.5 m you could be looking at least Ã'£200,000 for plant. There would have to be some very rare figures in that very large hole

I just think it could be a myth thats stuff went to a land fill site. I do wish it was true. But i really do thing anything that never got used did get mealted down for the plastic
