You're brave, I decided early on not to go down the cardback route, I'd feel inclined to aim for perfection, and personally, I cant afford that (though never say never)
Loose figures all they way for me, they display well and you can still play with them with your mates when stoned.

Already completed the loose figures and started on variants which has become scary!!
I have about 40 carded so getting there slowly but surely - I know what I can afford to spend (although I blew that statement out the water by buying one of the OP Ford autos when they were on sale!!!)

Still learning on variants - need explaining what all the different variations are (ie tri-logo etc.) and how you tell them apart.
Think once we get the house settled again (just went through a pretty major extension so everything is up in the air at the moment) I'll get the cam out and take pics of all my variants. Be good to show off what I've got instead of just drooling over other peoples stuff!!

Between him Snag, Craig, Coco and a few other variant people (weirdos) on here, they can probably tell you all you need to know.

You have to look at the stamping on the back of the leg.
(Year/Manufacturer/PlaceofManufacture)

Think the easiest thing to do will be to wait for people to tell me what I have when I post up pics (might have a while to wait for that though!!). It's the no COO ones I have troubles with.
