Another noob to this forum, but not a new SW collector. Started collecting back in the late 70s when my age was still in single figures, I spent all my pocket money, birthday and Christmas money (as a lot of you did I'm sure) of 3.75 figures when I went to a toy shop. I've still got all but a few of the original vintage figures in a Darth Vader carry case with all the original weapons. There were a few figures I managed to 'misplace' (hopefully they are lurking in the cupboard upstairs, but I've not had a good look for them yet). Ones I managed to misplace of course are an original vinyl caped jawa, Boba fett and Luke X-Wing Pilot..Although I still have all the original weapons tucked away safely, along with all the original card backs (yes I was that kid that never threw anything away, apart from the bubbles!). Also have 4 or 5 of the mini rigs and the Imperial Troop Transporter still all in their original boxes with instructions. I found them all out about 4 or 5 months ago and put them all individually in zip lock bags. All of my originals were hardly played with, so no paint rubs, loose limbs (apart from C3PO why over the years seems to have quite loose legs. Anyway, I have started to buy some that I was missing from my original collection, and now up to 75, with a recently purchased complete in box Max Rebo Band and Jabba's Playset. I'm only in to collecting the original vintage collection from 70s-80s. Anyhow, that's my story...glad to be a part of this forum and learning more, and no doubt spending more too! ......Always on the lookout for the figures I don't have to try and finish the collection
...Cheers....Dave
