Just been given permission to sell my own figure - discuss

I bought a Han Bespin on FB at the weekend which I knew had a rub on his hair as many do but didn't notice the discoloured legs.

I know, serves me right for not checking the pic properly but as I couldn't find the original listing again so asked the seller if he had made a mistake and sent the wrong one as what arrived looked considerably worse. His response was just to send a picture from the listing confirming the discolouration.

Apparently I have his blessing to sell on my own figure, well that was nice of him.

Now I don't want a refund as it was my own fault but seriously, who says that to someone they presumably might want to sell to again?!

Did you buy it in the Echo group at all - they have a ruling that you can't sell on anything without the previous owners permission in that group - so maybe that is what he meant?

Yes, I think the ruling is that if you buy anything in the group and want to resell it in that group then you need permission

This forum really only has one rule - don't be a ****. There are very few specific rules, but if anything you do falls under the above, which includes blatant flipping, be prepared to get called out on it

Not for one second would I ever consider asking someone else's permission to sell something I fecking own.
I do see their logic in trying to stop flipping but there's not a cat in hells chance I would abide by that rule.
There are so many holes and problems with that rule that it's just beyond stupid.
