Haven't seen any problems here, I'm not sure if that's cos we can get petrol shipped up from the Republic or not. So far no sign of panic buying though.

117.9 to 119.9 around here.

Same here, expensive, but worse for us in the middle of nowhere as everything is further away. This Government (bastards) seem content to allow rural post offices to close so I now have a 16 mile round trip to my nearest one

I like Gordon Brown is coming out and saying that high fuel prices are the most important issue facing Britain at the minute, and he is holding high level meetings with heads of OPEC country's and oil companys to try and bring the price down.

Here's a ****ing idea Gordon, stop adding 70p tax on EVERY ****ING LITRE of petrol!

WANKER!!!!!!!!!!!

59 pence of that is tax, and then there is VAT on top of that.
So your being taxed on the tax you pay!

This country is a ****ing joke when it comes to taxes

(Sorry, rant over)

Was one of the reasons old Dubbya gave not something along the lines of securing the price of oil for the American people (ohh and the world)?
