horror movie chat

Elm street 2 I thought was the best, although when I first watched number 1 that sticks in my mind most because it scared the shot out of me :)

I'm up for posting a Halloween pic :) good idea :)

Posting up pics will be a laugh, people tend to go for it for Halloween, my other half thinks I'm a mentalist because I always do something for Halloween ...werewolf this year, her response...

Come on guys make sure you post your Halloween pics :D

Watching original Poltergeist film.....awesome...haven't seen it for years

Cool SW stuff and posters in the kids bedroom 8)

This house is clean!

Great film, forgotten how good it was and still stacks up today...belter :D

And SW figures, ships and posters thrown in ...great film

also Poltergeist II is a great film. The preacher guy is super creepy. I always remember him from the Anthrax album cover 'Among The Living'.

Going to try and pick that up...as I remember the Preacher  proper scary bugger

These are my level of films, don't like the gory films, cracking story, good effects for the time they were made
Love the old Frankensteins etc as well...Hound of the Baskervilles with basil rathbone ...awesome

The scariest thing I've seen recently is the fake BBC documentary 'Ghostwatch'. Michael Parkinson presents it, about a haunting in a London council house. Like I said it's all fake but it's done brilliantly. You can get it on dvd, I challenge anyone to watch it home alone with the lights off.

Now I remember that and thought it was awesome. I also remember that they suggested it was 'real' or at least when I started watching it I was under the impression it was a real documentary. Were it not for the obvious child actors that belief may have lasted for longer!

Even have it on DVD

i watched this while i was home alone at parents beliving it was real .the bit where you catch a glimpse of ghost ,think they called it pipes .i was out house and got one of mates to stop.his parents must have been pissing them selves as i was scared to death lol

It was very cleverly done. You certainly weren't the first person I know of who was scared back then.

Had I not twigged it was just a show because of the obvious child actors I'd have been terrified!

Even then I was freaked. It's the kind of horror I like. It had the sense of possibility about it and was just plain creepy. I prefer that to the ones which make you jump all the time or are filled with gore.

I really liked the woman in black with Daniel Radcliffe. That had exactly the kind of chills I like.

Though I did keep on expecting him to say expelliarmus!

And the ending was a bit naff

didnt rate women in black ,may be cause i cant stand harry potter .
just watching gremlins with lad .he only seven and half but he watches it at his mams and i dont think it would have gone higher then i 12 if it was released today .nly just relised thought that gremlins are just mischeavous little shits thought they were wanting to kill people when i saw it as a kid ,gonna let him watch big trouble in little china nexe week
