Spotted this for sale at a small auction house, and after many emails I got some extra photos. I forwarded them to Gary Smith, who very kindly gave me lots of advice and his valued opinion. This item is a reseal for three reasons:
1)The image is broken and you can just see the line where its been stuck back down.
2)The foot plate is missing
3) Han small head wasnt shipped on this card (30 back)

Ive emailed the seller as it was eventually relisted as a reseal at the original auction. So far no responce and the listing is the same

Just noticed it is in the resealed section on Ebay. I still dislike the fact he has worded it as if it could be the original seal :|

Not to mention the fact that the guy did a horrible reseal with excessive super glue to the point it had a reaction on the figure (No it's not Kenner Frosting).

Wow, for me the frosting actually convinced me it was real! I didn't know super glue did that! Nice spot tfb

I was actually thinking that as well.

As a cardback, 30 back Han Solo is one of the more common cardbacks for the first 12 characters (ben kenobi being the most common) so the £51 pound price tag with a couple of days to go looks excessive.

Yeah, saw this yesterday. I looked for confirmation about small head Han appearing on that card. I had my doubts but couldn't actually find an answer - glad that bits been cleared up. As already stated the misalligned print is a giveaway and it also looks like there is wear to the front of his hair.
Rare card yes, but £51 and rising rare? Who knows.

Yeah this one definitely looks resealed with lots of superglue on the right and topside. Super glue does create a frosting like effect on many surfaces as a result of the fumes. This technique has been used in the past to detect fingerprints I believe.

Yes using excessive superglue causes fumes to get trapped inside the bubble...thus causing an adverse reaction with the plastic the figure is constructed of.........(**** I almost sounded educated there.)....Plus he slobbed glue beyond the point of the bubble seam onto the cardback....what a stupid ****....(Ok..back to sounding ignorant again :D )
