Jesus my luck is getting worse. After selling Lloris and bringing in worm just in time to not only miss Spuds clean sheet against Everton but to pick up Worm's red card, i also signed Silva who's now out for 4 weeks. This week my sub keeper gets -1, my captain Sturridge does FA in a 4-0 win, Toure gets dropped so my sub defender comes in with an ever so helpful -1, Lukaku manages to do nothing against the farce that is Palace and EVERYONE else in my team does nothing, bar Seamus Coleman.
I'm on a pathetic 24 or maybe its 26 pts, ohh and i have an 8 pt hit to take as well.
Close to binning it.

For once my luck is going the other way. I came within a hair's breadth of swapping out Hazard and Lambert this weekend but just at the last minute decide not to. Most of my team did **** all this week but those 2 and Suarez insured i had another great week.
Southampton have an awful run of fixtures coming up! Now's a good time to ditch Lambert.
You can tell exactly who captained Suarez just by looking at a league table. Anyone with a decent score skippered him!
Low scoring week all round. Bloody tough at the minute because there is virtually no one showing any consistency, bar Suarez, who will now do FA cos i just signed him.

Blimy, i thought Weaz had this sewed up (again :roll: ) but i looks like he may have been pipped right at the death by Stephen Duffy.
Steve had a mega week last week (116 points!) and went into the final week just 2 points behind. Weaz scored 49 (-4) and Stephen 50 (+1).
I finished 3rd.

Last GW royally ****ed me in this league and in another one i'm in. I had loads with two games and they all let me down. Rooney didnt play, Mata played 1 game and did FA when I gave him the arm band. Evra played 1 game and let in a couple, Aguero got injured and missed two thirds of his double GW and my hull defender got subbed at HT in his second game. Add to that Azpuelacueta getting dropped and Chelsea keeping a clean sheet.
I was expecting 100pts plus. I ended up with 60.
Even more annoying as i had closed a 160pt gap on two guys in the other league and both of them captained Dzeko, that was the real sickener.
Ah well.

**** that was close, looking like just 1 point in it although still stating league table being updated so wont be celebrating my success just yet :wink:
After spending most of the season top thought I'd blown it a few months back after having an atrocious period but thanks to last weeks points and Jeremy's unfortunate turn of events looks like it's come back around
If I'm honest I didn't enjoy it one bit as I get VERY frustrated when my players don't perform (and other people's do) and I end up watching games rooting for single players which really takes away the enjoyment factor. This was my first season back having taken a 3 year leave of absence for those reasons so probably wont return to defend my crown, still at least that gives everyone else a better chance :lol:
