EU books and Comic Chat

Not SW (or graphic novel EU etc) but on the Baldacci front if you buy the Hardback copy of 'The Hit' there is a code in the front that gets you another of his paperback books free from the publisher, i was missing the last Maxwell King novel so worked out well :)

Now I do like an Ewok but I think the marketing guys have stretched it a bit - 'Ties into the beloved Ewoks TV series and movies!' :)
 
Just started Darth Plagueis......


Half way through, now I would recommend to anyone who has not read, it's dark from the start and for me gives the background to palpatine that I wanted great continuity, keeps you riveted

Great read so far brill 8) 8)
 
Struggling to finish the 3rd Fate of the Jedi book. Disappointed with the series so far.

However, got my copy of the SW A Long Time Ago vol 1 omnibus! Brilliant! The early design for Jabba is hilarious.
 
Need to get some omnibuses! And I have to say I loved the fotj series, although I think I'm the only one! Just finished into the void
 
Darth Maul Death Sentence came through the post today.
Also Smuggler's Code (Clone Wars Mini) - I am buying these and holding them for my kids in a few years time, think i have them all so far.

Agreed, it was pretty worthless.

I'm still on the fence regarding Legacy v2 with Ania Solo (descendant of Han & Leia), it hasn't got the appeal of v1 with Cade Skywalker just yet, maybe the story will get better?

Has anyone else read it?
 
Reading backlash at the moment. Allston is the funniest of the SW writers. He's really doing some interesting things with Ben at the moment, who to be honest I think has been pretty boring until now.
 
Finally read In the Shadow of Yavin and really enjoyed it. No spoilers but it sets up a lot of threads, and despite treading lightly over territory already covered is a nice set up, the art work is great and the use of more than core characters is a nice touch. Looking forward to volume two :)
 
Anyone fancy doing some book swapping?

I've just read the first 2 x wing books and want the rest, anybody after anything else? I have loads from Heir onwards

Can get them on amazon for about £3 inc postage ...don't know what postage would be but if swapping then the recipient would be paying postage for theirs to you, so as long as UK based all even

Thoughts???
