Disney acquires Lucasfilm!!!

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror ...

Man- I'm well pissed off.

Lens flares are cheap light scribbles that age the film. Lazy filmmaking.

And the half corkscrew, pendulum camera angles are a salute to 21st Century cinema 'experiences' rather than the art form that is evident throughout all the compositions in Empire Strikes Back.

And whats stopping it looking like another fecking star trek reboot?

What the ****!?

Someone talk me out of this please :(

Grant,

As usual I have no idea what the bloody hell you're going on about. What are you complaining about in laymen's terms?

Sorry bud- its the coffee.

I think his dramatic camera work is awful and his lens fare effects look like something out of a Linkin Park video.

If he matches it to the other films, it might be ok- but his flashy style- seems like a good idea now, in the same way sparkly glove on a hand seemed like a good idea in the 80's.

Is that OK? I just needed to vent. To me the news was a bit like- if i was a Christian and just heard that Freddie Star was going to pen the new testament.

Ah I think I've got it now. Too current and cool to leave a legacy?

I don't want this:
