His Ledy 8D8 took a beating (well compared to how much he paid for it)

Wonder if the buyer will receive it after Blarc lost about $500 on it

I am hurt and still on the fence

I don't mean to be a dick John but do you think it's possible your feedback puts people off bidding? I mean you lost a lot of money on several of those items from what I remember..

You paid like $400 or so for the Lumat from Luis and it was ungraded!

The 8D8 was $1K when you bought it ungraded, add your grading fee's thats gotta be like $1200 total if not more considering all the shipping charges back and forth.

Reputation is everything man and dodgy feedback about you not shipping items you sell is going to cost you your ebay membership sooner or later as well as your money.
Joe I respect you. You have always been classy. I respect your opinions as you are not a knothead like a lot of others.

I lost money its no secret, but it wasn't my fault when it came to those 12 inch figures. People ****ed me from other countries. There were some american bidders and I was so upset I said screw em all. It wasn't right but it was the decision I made at that moment. The prices the figures went for was fair and I was ok with them. It was just the shipping to other countries and people wanted the shipping to stay 10.00.
I was screwed thats all.
I move on. Most people with no life and who live on forums can't let it go.
I think for now on I will just keep what I buy in the dark and no longer share or sell as my reputation is garbage.
No one knows but I have an extensive Harbert collection.
I have always been a collector of the most interesting pieces. Everyone who knows me before my rep was ruined knows my collection is full of vintage figures that are 1 or just a few of a kind. I don't share everything as I have been under heavy scrutiny.

I don't know.
AND LMFAO!!! He has bagged you out as much as any of us. Wasn't it Joe who busted you with using other peoples pictures in the end resulting in your ban from RS???? Get your tongue out of his arse...that's what dogs do.

Oh dear...

John, I have been a bit wary of you since you arrived on RS if I am honest, I appreciate you not calling me names and swearing at me on this forum but I wouldn't say I am on your side, I just post in a different way to others ;)

One thing I know about this online community (and that goes for pretty much all SW forums) - once you lie, **** up, or **** people around with deals on more than one occasion you might as well go live in a cave because no-one is going to take you seriously any more.

I gotta admit I found the fake picture thing on RS hilarious, not only because you were caught, but when you got the chance to come clean about it you kept lying! I mean,... come on! If there was a winner for worst forum decision ever it would be that one, you could have at least been honest and saved yourself some face..

As for the rest- I just find it all very interesting, buying up these odd things, showing them off, AFA'ing them and then selling them lol, I can't see how anyone could get enjoyment out of buying and selling unless they were dealing and making money- which in your case isn't happening, you are in fact losing money :?

Anyway, you should expect this kind of treatment by now, there is no-one else to blame but yourself really and people will always remember.

(BTW- if you do send out that 8D8 and all the other items you just sold then well done at least for doing the right thing for once, that is the gamble you take with a no reserve auction after all)

Money isn't an issue for me. Those auctions with the 12 inch figures were complete chaos. People messed me up bidding from other countries and winning. How it's done you ask. You log on to your ebay account in that country and it allows you to bid. So I was ****ed even though I clearly stated no International shipping you stupid ****.
I haven't shafted anyone. My items have all been shipped and received.

As there seems to be some confusion both on the part of John and others as to the facts of the "reneged" auctions and the nationality of those who did not receive the items they "won". I think it's important to clear it up. I chose not to add opinion at this point. Just facts.

There have been 7 "reneged" auctions on JWalsh's ebay account in the last 12 months that we know of.
By the sounds of it and by John's own admission this could soon rise to 8.
Here is the feedback of the 7 "buyers" -

and here is the nationality of the 7 "buyers" -

Jcb99z71 – USA
thepawn – USA
spectrumpp – france
sunnyandgadzooks – USA
jedimr – USA
aussithusa – USA
tbirdsc69me - USA

I hope that clears up some of the confusion.

I had assumed John was based in USA- hence the ebay.com sales
So the international shipping reason only accounts one of his auctions- to France?

Lol, yeah 4 of the 5 "international transactions" were from winning bidders located in the same country as him

Don't forget I listed 12 figures. Chewbacca, C3P0, R2D2, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Boba Fett, Jawa, IG-88.
I actually got some of the foreign buyers to cancel transaction and give me back the sellers fee because they new they were wrong. Thank you for proving my point Gowdy.

 Will it ever end?

*And you say the rest settled no probs? Then why couldn't you ship the stuff out in the US? A minute ago it was of all these international buyers giving you grief so you just said hell with it (Your words pretty much)? Looks like only one gave you grief and the rest agreed with you...again your words.

As i said John, i'm just talking about the facts here, not hearsay (yours or anyone else's) i can find no evidence of the 12 figures you speak of and really they are of no concern. Just these 7 "reneged" auctions for which there IS evidence. What you "say" carries no real weight given the evidence provided. I think it's important to stick to the above mentioned 7 auctions which apart from possibly 1 (the french buyer) appear completely indisputable.

In my opinion, this has probably gone on long enough.

Mr John Walsh has done himself no favours on either board aand his ebay feedback is shocking. I have no idea his true reasons for making himself the centre of attention, especially in such a negative way, but feel that a line should now be drawn.

If I were him, I would keep a low profile, open up a new ebay account and come back to the boards in the future with a new username and to be honest a new attitude to taking part in what is a fantastic hobby.

By the way did anyone notice who the winning bidder was on the 30bk Fett???

I know it was a private auction but for some reason when when you check the listing on your mobile phone it gives the info of a few letters and the feedback score.

Anyways it didn't take long to workout it was Brian's Toys. Be interesting to see if this piece was actually sent to BT's as you can bet it's on it's way to AFA for grading then be up for $10000+

I'd just echo what has already been said reputation is everything in this hobby. I would have been a bidder in the Fett but how the **** can you seriously place a bid in an item that's listed as MOC then relisted as a re-seal??

And here is the real reason once again from John, just so everyone is clear.
"As far as the negative feedback on my ebay account it was my fault. I listed them and had a change of heart. I take the blame on that."

Till the next time we double dick
