Awesome TV shows

If you want to go a little left of centre and embrace the antipidian offerings try out the almighty Johnsons. Fun take on the Norse god thing, plus a chance to see a few of the cast of the hobbit before they get their 15 minutes.

Possibly the best TV show ever made (and I say that as a complete Soprans devote). An absolute crime/mystery why no UK broadcaster has picked this up.

Sounds great. Only available in the US? Enjoying dexter so far but I haven't gotten far

Just finished the first season of this due to your recommendation. Loving it so far. It's a really good show. As good as Sopranos, 24, The Wire... hmm... we'll see but it's certainly up there at the moment with some of the best shows i've seen.

Strikeback on Sky one (sunday 9pm). Written by Chris Ryan, and if you like mindless action with a bit of story line........this is the show for you

Its well into season 2 now and they will be doing season 3

Agree 100%,everything about this show is fantastic, this mid season break is killing me lol.
When I tell people about this show I think the word 'meth' puts them off it but when they do watch it they quickly become addicted as the show as it so much more than the production of meth.
I'm jealous of anybody who hasn't seen this show as they have so may episodes of awesomeness to watch.
And to anybody who has watched this show, just how good was last seasons episode,'Face off'? Surely it has to be one best season finale in the episode of tv,absolutely epic!!!

'The Wire' is another epic show that has finished now and is also a must see,I would rank it up there with 'Breaking Bad'.

I'm also loving 'The Walking Dead' again,I found Season 2 a bit too soap opera like but Season 3 has been fantastic so far.

I'm also watching 'Homeland' currently which is very good and recently started watching 'Person of Interest' which is good also.

I download it to watch it from EZTV,I just watched S02E04 last night in glorious HD.

I forgot to mention 'Sons of Anarchy' which is fantastic, being a sportsbike rider I initially thought I wouldn't like a TV show about a Harley riding motorcycle club but when I did watch it I immediately got hooked,a great cast with some fantastic acting.
I can't endorse Season 3 though, they were supposedly in Northern Ireland but got it so so wrong.

Finished watching the first three seasons of Justified, great cowboy/US Marshal cop show, well worth a punt.
Season four is filming now I think

Cheers, just checked it out and looks very good, downloading the pilot now to watch it later.

Not seen any of The Wire, I keep meaning to download it, as people have always said it's v good, though I fear I'll constantly be judging it against Breaking Bad!

On a different tagent one of my faves at the moment is Storage Wars, total trash by Barry Weiss is the man!

It's a better all round show than Breaking Bad tho very very different. It can't really be compared. Whereas shows like Dexter and to some extent, Sopranos can be likened to Breaking Bad The Wire is just such a different show to all those. Has a really different feel and a unique narrative. It's got a more gritty and realistic feel to it. It's hard to explain, you just have to watch it and see.

I watched 'Weeds' also, first few seasons were the best but a great wee show none the less,I can't believe its finished already.

End of an era this week with final Fringe eposiodes :(

Hope its a good ending!

Also looking forward to the Following on Sky Altanic 22nd Jan and the Return on Channel 5 of Person of Interest 27Jan :)
