I think you're seeing the last few games of Michael Clarke's career. If/when Australia lose this game and thus the Ashes, I expect he'll quit/be fired. He may make it to the end of the series but that'll be him done. He's in horrible form, the wrong side of 30 and judging by his press conferences not overly happy with the selectors.
Sad way for a quality player to go, but it happens to everyone eventually.

the only reason we won this serries was of typical english conditions the congratulations are deserved of course the one bad pitch we rolled out this series was a flat track and we got hammered. i guarantee next time were down under we'll loose heavily.

Home advantage does seem to be a more and more decisive factor in test cricket. Which is a bit strange given the IPL, Big Bash, Caribbean league etc. you would expect players playing in those competitions would gain a better understanding of the conditions. I know it's 20:20 but it's still more experience than players had back in the 70's, 80's or 90's.

Is saeed Ajmal back bowling again or is he still being investigated for his action? He killed England last time.
