I love watching your (and your sons), collection grow and those helmets look really good in the new unit.

Very nice to see :D

so now about just over 3 years in and nearly there!!

DSD Pali with original footer

name plate was missing Ian had a badly damaged card that he let me have for the nameplate, thank you again Ian, massively appreciate it

i have done what I can with this one for display, and happy with him as is

Pali 20 back DSD original bubble, original footer, have not resealed left as is , nameplate is original and obvious on display, but not glued etc ( it can just pop out if need be)

so the only one left now is the R5 to source ( patience still with that) have a rough R5 20 back card but no bubble or figure so may see if I go that route instead

anyway here is the DSD now, happy with this ( thanks again Ian for the support)

Here with his mates 😄
Fantastic stuff nearly there(y). Love what you have done with this run mate. Good to see it can be done on a budget, looks just as impressive in my view. I have a trilogo Tri-Logo EV-9D9 which has been put together on a reasonable budget. and have 3 more ROTJ cards with blisters ready to be given the same treatment....what will be your next focus??

Cheers bud, once I sort the R5 revert back to ROTJ run for me and the lad get some pics up of the work up you do on your ROTJ cards and blisters, love seeing others work on bringing back pieces to display level on a budget

Sourced a Palitoy R5 to reseal it has the nameplate cut and detached original bubble but I have a Kenner card I will put behind it for now to address the nameplate not being there…which will finish my run ! once done I will post up …really pleased to finally finish it

need a footer though, anyone any ideas? Anyone with a spare footer around ( obviously not an original one! ) that will finish this off?

Good find, Mike - not an easy one to get hold of these days. One of the best cardbacks!

I made a footer for mine, by downloading a scanned cardback and sticking it on a bit of cereal box, with the grey cardboard showing underneath. Ian gave me a good tip of lightly painting the grey side with clear PVA, to make it less fibrous and more original looking.

Now footer done and acrylic happy for now with this fella
That loos so good Mike and well done again on getting this one to complete your run. I know it took a while to find this last figure but it was well worth hanging in there.

Maybe time for one more group shot :)

Thanks Ian, and thanks again for all the support on this run started Oct 2018 ( a great start with the assistance from Ian) then has been support from members on here, a couple of private sales, then eBay ( with a couple from the US) really enjoyed putting the run together on a budget and to end up with this run is really beyond what I dreamed of.
these are not perfect graded pieces, that's not what I was after, nor did or do I have the budget for that, but I wanted to be able to work on them to bring them to display standard for me & the lad, enjoy the journey ..learning on the way from great members on here, and research.

So here now is the group 12/20/21 run mixture of Palitoy & Kenner, a number of these have issues and a couple still need a little tidy up, but over the moon to have achieved this and will never tire of looking at them and smiling, every day.

will get them back on the shelves this weekend 😄
