Have a red snag Palitoy card back on its way so will work on that when it arrives, another one off the list :D

My lovely wife has also allowed me some extra display space, so working on that today, didn't mention the Death Star though :? already got the SW stamp on it

Also have a cracker on the way as well thanks to an eBay buy and Edd on here, ( not part of the 21 back run but it's got me excited  ) will have a really nice project to go at, will reveal when that arrives :D

Thanks Grinchy, hope your well

Yes keep getting side tracked from the run

The Fett I'm really pleased with though he has come out nice with an eBay purchase, a figure I already had and a TL bubble that was kindly provided by Edd. Didnt think I would ever get a Fett on my budgets and to have the Jedi one and the 21 back as well is better than I ever imagined.

Have another pick up from eBay now that also has a quirk to it with a factory misaligned bubble ( this one again is not on the run, but is a piece I've always wanted) was badly warped but a little starch and ironing! Sorted that to something I feel is ok for me
just need a nice figure for it now !

Hi Michael,

Great collection you have been putting together. I have been inspired again by these sorts of posts and want to do something similar.

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Mark

Get great satisfaction from collecting this way, and on a budget to boot!

Good luck, if I come accross anything, or if I can help out I'll let you know

So still some to go now, four ( have cardbacks but may hold out for resealed Mocs, for R5, LXW, Red Snag and DSD

But happy to get anywhere near a run of 21

Hopefully 2020 will see additions of the 4 needed :D

That looks great Mike, nice tidy display, congrats on getting this far into the run, you must be chuffed with it :D

Cheers Grinchy

Yes really chuffed mate, have even added a Wally now ( thanks to Mark Sublevelstudios) so only 3 to go now, just sourced 2 bubbles as well so 2020 is starting well!

This set is really coming together Mike and best of luck with filling in the remaining few this year.

Amazing run, with lots of MOCs being out off most people's price range, this gives hope to us all. Great that the old cards and bubbles are being put to good use too!

Thanks for the kind comments guys

For me it's the only way I can put a run like this together as the real McCoy is way out of range for me, but I also love the thrill of searching and putting together

I already have a Pali 20 back cardback snag, and have just won a 20 back Kenner card and bubble, so I will look to complete that one when card and bubble arrive, I have presumed the 20 back bubble Kenner is the same as the Pali bubble, so will go with that once the card and bubble arrive, a job for the weekend :D

BTW. The card and bubble on the way, the bubble is completely separated from the card, so not doing any wanton damage here, there will be a 20 back cardback going begging when I'm done so if anyone is interested drop me a pm :D

Cardback and bubble arrived, decided that I will reseal on the Kenner and keep all to the original feels right

This will go back together well and prefer to keep it as Kenner as opposed to using the bubble on the Pali card
Will post up a pic when done

So put this together and quite happy obvious reseal, but that's not a problem for me, so another crossed off the list now :D
Decided to go with the Pali card in the end

Had a tidy up and reshuffle today nearly done now, just need R5/DSD figures and a couple of bubbles ( that's a nightmare) but then all 21 done, slowly building a mix of ROTJ ESB reseals as well for the joint collection with my lad

Another great display Mike, you've had a busy day but I can see it was more than worth while.

What are the bubbles you've after?
