Some great stuff there lads - this thread is crazy - I'd love to do a calculation as to just how much has been spent this year alone of Star Wars goodness !

Anyway, I did give some of the guys at FF a quick heads up as to what I would be spending my takings on but here they are in their full glory.

The Palitoys are just minty - with the exception of the DSC which has warped a bit -although he is now straightening up his new case. The Walrusman is a new card to my hunt but the other three are upgrades (hence the recent sales!)

Both the Death Stars are equally as beautiful - the Palitoy one looks super cool and as far as I can see if complete. The Kenner one apparently was a MISB but the tape broke and a look inside suggests it has never been played with

Super nice looking Palitoy 20 backs and impressive Kenner DS!! 8)

Actually winding down for Christmas, but got these today:

Okay so it's a Kenner and not a Palitoy, but I need it to make my Palitoy whole again!

Two lovely looking Palitoy cardbacks, both are 30a backs, pity the price sticker obscures half of the Palitoy logo - damn you Alpha Toys!

Finally two Palitoy opened cards courtesy of Palitoy78 - both very nice!

I'm glad I don't collect Palitoys anymore too much competition :D

Seriously great pick ups all round - including the Imperial Shuttle which defines 'The Empire' IMO

Iain -you must be chuffed to bits with your latest purchases, but where's the Palitoy Chewie???

Maulster - What a great haul of goodies, TFP one of my fave figues 8)

Guys, I have been 'away' from this thread 6 days, so much to go through, so many items I really like, but I can't pull a Frank, so I will pick one of my favorite posts of you, but that doesn't mean I like the others' pickups!

My favorite haul this time is by Iain, I have that Palitoy Death Star on my hit list as well, but it's not going to happen so soon I guess as I would be looking for one in great condition with a great condition box and they don't come up for sale often and when they do, they are expensive.
And I also like your Palitoy MOCs.

I have received a parcel full of great goodies from Iain today too, but today I want to show you something I have already received about a week ago. Since the item was damaged in transit I tried to get some money back from the carrier but they just filled out some bs 2 pager and literally left me standing in the rain. I am really mad at them, but there's nothing I can do. The seller though, upon hearing my story, decided to give me a 50% refund, which is a real nice move. It was the first time we PM'd/dealt and so it was really unexpected.

ROTJ shelf talker. When it went up for sale on RS I quickly messaged the seller about this item, some of you know that ROTJ is my favorite SW movie and I also like the toys from this movie the most. So I had to get it.

Here you can see the damage that happened in transit, I have already taped it with sello tape from the back.

If you wish to read the full story, you can read it on my blog. I'll keep saying this until I have 1000 page hits per day without me saying it.
Just kidding.

Then I was looking for a Lili Ledy Lando Skiff Guard helmet only, when I found a complete figure on eBay. Turns out the seller was Javi from RS, so I pm'd hin. The price was surprisingly low, so I had to get it. This is now my 3rd LL Lando Skiff Guard, one is still missing a helmet (which I may have turned up now) :)

@All who have been @FF2: Have Gus and Duncan selling there book there or why are so many posting their book here? Did anyone pick up spares?

@ODB: Nice McQuarrie portfolios, I somewhere hope to still have the ESB one from my childhood, one day I want to have all three too.

Yeah- they brought a ton of their 3 books but I believe they sold every copy.

Very nice Dennis, would love one of those shelf talkers one day. That blue snag is also a peach well done.

Well after a combined wait of nearly a year having had them sent twice and a whole lotta guff in between these finally arrived today. Very happy with them and relieved to finally add them to the collection.

Luke is opened from the back and the DSD is a sliced bubble, both display really well but unfortunately are missing their pops.

Well it would actually be easier to tell a 30a and b Leia Bes apart because the card photo was revised for the 30b. The only other figure that has a revised photo 30b card is Luke Bespin.

Love all Pali 30 card backs anyways 8)
