Guys, I have been 'away' from this thread 6 days, so much to go through, so many items I really like, but I can't pull a Frank, so I will pick one of my favorite posts of you, but that doesn't mean I like the others' pickups!
My favorite haul this time is by Iain, I have that Palitoy Death Star on my hit list as well, but it's not going to happen so soon I guess as I would be looking for one in great condition with a great condition box and they don't come up for sale often and when they do, they are expensive.
And I also like your Palitoy MOCs.
I have received a parcel full of great goodies from Iain today too, but today I want to show you something I have already received about a week ago. Since the item was damaged in transit I tried to get some money back from the carrier but they just filled out some bs 2 pager and literally left me standing in the rain. I am really mad at them, but there's nothing I can do. The seller though, upon hearing my story, decided to give me a 50% refund, which is a real nice move. It was the first time we PM'd/dealt and so it was really unexpected.
ROTJ shelf talker. When it went up for sale on RS I quickly messaged the seller about this item, some of you know that ROTJ is my favorite SW movie and I also like the toys from this movie the most. So I had to get it.
Here you can see the damage that happened in transit, I have already taped it with sello tape from the back.
If you wish to read the full story, you can read it on my blog. I'll keep saying this until I have 1000 page hits per day without me saying it.
Just kidding.
Then I was looking for a Lili Ledy Lando Skiff Guard helmet only, when I found a complete figure on eBay. Turns out the seller was Javi from RS, so I pm'd hin. The price was surprisingly low, so I had to get it. This is now my 3rd LL Lando Skiff Guard, one is still missing a helmet (which I may have turned up now)
@All who have been @FF2: Have Gus and Duncan selling there book there or why are so many posting their book here? Did anyone pick up spares?
@ODB: Nice McQuarrie portfolios, I somewhere hope to still have the ESB one from my childhood, one day I want to have all three too.
