You know what really grinds my gears? lifes little rants!

I tell you what pisses me off is when people post a picture of a soldier (one who has joined up of his own free will, not forced) holding his kid for the first time and crying and everyone is saying how great it is and how hard it must be....well I dont give two ****s as he made that choice and if he really cared about family life why do such a dangerous job.

Another thing that grinds my gears is when someone sells something brand new and takes it out the box just to take pictures....**** off with that that, it is no longer brand new if removed from packaging :)

Mate, that's for women who are more than likely talking away and not paying a blind bit of attention, hence it repeats itself three times in the vain hope they'll hear one of them!

My Sat Nav has Vaders voice and a Tie fighter as its car icon, its awesome...

I went the wrong way once and it told me my 'lack of faith is disturbing' and when I arrive it tells me I 'have arrived at my destination but I am not a Jedi yet'

I could jump on a few of these... Cyclists ahhhhh, actually my issues isn't withy he act of cycling its that fact that I have yet to meet a cyclist who believes the Highway Code actually applies to them, oh and adults that cycle on pavements hate that.

One thing that is annoying me right now is collectables or rather every company that now promotes everything as collectable to to peddle more of their crap. One of the reasons I gave up with modern SW figs was that I had enough of Hasbro trying to drive the collectors market with exclusive after exclusive and now Lego are putting gold chase figures in CMF packs, those Moshi things I posed about the other, turns out they are for kids and the damn company actively pushes rare mushling things, right out of order. Make a product, sell a product but stop trying to emotionally get people to buy it. And to make it worse you then get every half baked idiot that buys the crap and then tries to peddle it off as rare on Evilbay at three times the price of the high street. Dont get me wrong you don't have to buy from them but everyone of them is responsible for getting other idiots to think they can sell essentially worthless stuff for loads and it balloons out of control. Items that are worth pence with stupid BIN prices and while I'm going just because it was made I. The 1980's doesn't mean it is worth hundreds of pounds..............

That feels better.

inlaws who make snidey comments about how your raising there grandchildren.....**** off! springs too mind when there having a pop!

After reading the first line i was going to say 'that describes every Star Wars toy released since Phantom Menace came out'. I like some of the modern lines. They make figures that should have been made back in the day instead of the crap like ghost Anakin, Imp Dig, and so on. But this thing that as soon as they come out in deliberately limited numbers, or are only released in the US, thus making items instantly worth a fortune on Ebay, really ****s me off

People saying their contact number too fast.

Really pushes my buttons when someone on the phone passes their 11 digit contact number at slightly slower than the speed of light with no natural pauses just one long stream of numbers
Get it all the time at work - hey ass hole you know your number so you can rattle it off in under 2 seconds but guess what, I don't and I'm not a machine so take a breath, engage you brain and repeat it.

I am brutal now - if someone does it I don't even ask them to repeat I just say thanks and leave it at that. Far as I'm concerned it's natural selection - if you are too stupid to pass your contact details at a decent speed you don't get the help you are after.

Most things annoy me

Arrogance, greed, ignorance.

I think there is a lot to be said for progression, and for a more tolerant society, but the tolerance benchmark has been set way too high in my opinion.
We are asked to accept to much in society today as " the norm" when it's not.

Losing traditions and our culture.

Text speak

Twitter

Face book and other social media sites.....WHY?

Politicians

Physical an verbal abuse toward women or kids .......unacceptable

Anyone that can harm an animal,

All our traditional fish and chip shops turning into take aways

Utility bills.....****ing outrageous

As I said most things annoy me, so ill stop now

Now i have to disagree with you on Facebook and here's why -

Because my Dad is a **** i lost contact with his half of the family for around 15 years. After a while I had no idea where they lived or anything. Then about three years ago i found my cousin on FB. All through the 80's we were like best mates. I was made up :D Looking through his friend list i found my sister, two more cousins and an aunt ..and my ****ing horrible bitch stepmother. After that we all met up (except for the squinty eyed bitch face stepmother) and it's been great. My cousin was the best man at our wedding and we all see each other regularly. I have FB to thank for reuniting my family ...the ones i give a **** about anyway. All that and it's completely free! :)

Grinding my gears...

Co-workers that cannot take a hint and p*ss off with questions they should be able to answer themselves, when you're busy doing important budget calculations...

I live in New Zealand so where do I start? Here are just a few... (apologies in advance to any Kiwis here :D )

People that say "if you don't like it here why don't you go back to the UK?" Because the wages here are so ****ing **** and everything you buy is such a rip off including flights and removals that coming here is a one-way ticket unless you win the lottery.

The NZ lottery... costs $14 (7 quid) and you win $1.5m jackpot on average, and 3 numbers gets you **** all, you have to get 4 numbers to win anything. Tight-arsed cunts.

The Inand Revenue. Cunts. They've ****ed me over good and proper the last 6 years.

The fact that they are 2 years behind when it comes to home technology, and once it does arrive you pay through the ****ing nose for it.

The ****ing **** TV channels (apart from Sky Sport, where EVERY premier league game gets shown).

Having to pay 20 quid a time to see my ****ing doctor.

Paying a fiver for a pint of cold piss.

Having two choices when it comes to buying stuff - generic cheap Chinese **** or pay extortionate amounts for quality.

The fact that Kiwis claim they invented everything. Upside-down ketchup bottles is the latest one, FFS.

Apart from that its a great place and my new missus is from here so it's not all bad

My lad and his wife spent 14 months in Nz, said the people were really welcoming, they were based in Wellington
My daughter spent 4 months on the s island and loved it

Some of the scenery was awesome

Mate...the UK is shite at the mo, cost of living sucks, utility bills through the roof, the politicians are still saying tighten your belts, money is tight
Weather is atrocious...still good old blighty though

Like you say you wouldn't have your mrs but for NZ...so look at the positives mate
:D

Yeah true, I've heard much the same from family... easy to get rose-tinted specs on and get nostalgic about the UK but I guess I left there for a reason.

Still it feels good to rant about something
