In all seriousness my lot would have made a better fist of beating Algeria than England just did!

I was wondering why Joe Cole wasn't on as well Jay. Seems strange. Although not as strange as Rooney lasting 90 mins, I can honestly say I didn't see him do ONE constructive thing all night (shooting harmlessly wide DOESN'T count), he gave the ball away time and again, his first touch was worse than a school boy. His 90 mins against Algeria tonight is as poor a 90 mins as I have seen from and England international in many many years.

World class!? Aye right! Give me David Healy any day.

Before tonight I would have expected England to beat Slovenia quite easily, but after that I don't know. They are making dammed hard work of what is a pretty easy group (as far as world cup groups go).

England are ****. Rooney is the only truly world class player we have (apart from perhaps Cashley Cole :evil: ) , and when he is off his game the rest of the team suffers

Gerrard can be world class, but has lost his drive. Terry's mind is elsewhere and he's lost his edge, Lampard only looks good when playing in a decent midfield and the rest of the team are Premiership second tier - why is this result a surprise?

They'll beat Slovenia with a flukey Crouchy header and then go out to Germany. The golden generation has got old, I can't wait for the Premiership to start
