Hi people be gentle with Me its My first time. I am restoring My old childhood toys and loving every time the post man delivers. Thank you Iain Sanderson for making returning home after work feel like xmas !!!!!! I let My 3 boyz play with all My vintage figures over the years and they lost a lot of stuff but they got the same love as I did out of them . but now I am getting them back as they were and loving it.!!!!!!!!
 
Hi everyone i'm new on here and am only just starting my collection as thought it was a good idea to sell myfigures recently to raise money for new baby. Immediately regretting it and now going to have to start again which is a pisser as mine were in perfect condition as i was a sad kid who looked after his toys! Been having a look on e bay just after some advice/ figures to start me off.

My name is David and I have been activly collecting since 2001. The Swedish collectors know me as FLUX and the founder of the old SSWC (Swedish Star Wars Collectors) forum that I started back in 2004. These days Facebook has taken over almost completly and it's nice to see this forum being active. I listen to the SWFUK podcast and I'm looking forward in being a part of this community!

Collecting Focus: Mainly loose (with box) production toys from Kenner and Palitoy. I also collect MISB mini rigs and Swedish Star Wars stuff.

Steve here from sunny Leeds :) I have been recommended this forum from the Echo Base UK Facebook group.

Im a big collector primarily of retro video games, im also a forum moderator on RetroCollect.com and own a ridiculous amounts of 80s things :) One of the biggest regrets of my life (and im sure im not the only one) is selling off my entire boxed original star wars collection when i was a child to my cousins so i could get enough money for a sega master system, i had boxed at-at, millenium falcon, about 30 action figures. At the time i was happy, and so were my cousins but they eventually just broke it all :-(

Over the last few years i've been getting into collecting 80s toys and action figures, im now getting a fairly good collection of bits that have taken over my house, the kids also love playing with the older action figures too.

Im currently embarking on organising a sales event in Leeds called Collectorabilia, it will take place in Leeds Town Hall Crypt on 21st March 2015 and im hoping to fill the room with sellers of 80s/90s toys, action figure, collectables, memorabilia, video games. Essentially my childhood in a room :) Im looking to get some good star wars sellers at the event too, also a friend of mine is looking to sell off his entire Star Wars collection too, so i'll be pointing him towards here to help with some valuations too if thats ok.

Looks like a great forum from what ive seen so far
