Where did you get your Blue Snag and how much did it cost?

I paid £130 for my AFA 80 Blue Snag about 1 year ago,i very rarely buy pre graded figures as i like to send mine to be graded myself but on this occasion i ignored my own rules and just bought it.

I sold a couple last year on ebay. One was in the worst condition possible sold for £45 the other with a good bit of paint loss £65. I will look might still have the photos off them.

Never owned one. Maybe if I ever get round to trying to complete my loose collection I'll buy one. Although it will probably be left to the end along with VC Jawa.

Thinking about selling off a lot off my collection but if i decide to keep it all. I will buy a AFA blue sngg to go in the collection

I got mine fo £90 but its minty minty c10 not a mark on it i have carded it on a custom SW blue snaglletooth card just because i dont collect loose so i needed it to fit in with the rest of my collection

The first I bought was from a low feedback seller on ebay.com for next to nothing ( I won't mention the price lol)
He had one owner, and no-one bid because of his feedback, I was pretty anxious waiting for him to turn up, but he did!
Here he is :

Since then, I sold him off to fund life stuff and lucked out on the next one : My wife bought it for me and it is in almost the same condition with just a mark on the back of his boot, I don't have a picture but I lucked out again and she only paid £45 shipped! :D

"The luck is strong in this one"

You can still get good deals ! check out this one that ended last night : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280234378522&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018

I'm sure most people will if you email before bidding, I must admit I've even bid without asking  in the past but it always works out, I would only steer clear of auctions that specifically state that they won't post internationally.

Good luck to any ol' Blue hunters!

Thanks for all the replys so far, I guess the moral of this story is, if you look hard enough you should get a pretty decent one for £75.

Whiteskinnydroid- the Ebay USA one you pointed out was a bargain! welcome to the forum anyway...

My job lot arrived today and not good. Got a case of figures through in one of those old collector cases that had a blue snag in but the paint loss on the boots was real bad, ripped vinyl capes, repro weapons and paint loss on all figures even though he was describing C8-C9 figures. Oh well asked for a refund - see how I get on....

If your not happy send it back and get a refund. Buyers have ALL the power on Ebay now, so you should be ok.

Shame though!

that happened to my g/f with a smaller lot - a few **** figures, one with head glued on

it would have cost more that the refund was worth to send it back though and the seller was being an arse about it even tho he offered a refund knowing full well it wasnt worth doing.

she told the seller she would escalate it as he sent crap goods and got a partial of that (it wasnt about the money as it was **** all but about shady seller practice)

its no good them saying im sorry i will list my figures more carefully net time - as that just bollocks anyways

hopefully your seller will come through

what is the ID? presuming they were off fleabay?

and BTW.... i had a figure arrive the other day with a DEAD FLEA IN THE ZIP BAG!!! im sure ive seen a pube in another GROSS!!!

I was hoping this was going to be a good bunch of figures, but hey ho, you win some you lose some. I'll let you know on the response when I get one. What do you reckon - is it gonna be a yay or a nay for a refund? Answers on a postcard???
