As the title says, had one of those weeks!
My folks pissed off on holiday on Monday morning and my Granda was rushed into hospital on Tuesday morning. He had fallen and knocked himself into the middle of next week. He was found in a pool of blood. My Aunt was "too busy working" to take anything to do with it so I was left to try and figure out how to get his stuff down to him, WTF to do with his dog and also to TRY and figure out what medication he was on and where the hell he had left it. Would have been a lot easier if the auld dear had taken her mobile with her, but it lives in a drawer in the Kitchen!
On my way to work on Wednesday morning a dosey ****ing bitch in a red Merc decided not to stop at junction, or even to bother looking, but just to drive straight on out! Apparently a "Stop" sign and markings on the road aren't enough for her!
I went straight into the side of her. Luckily I was only doing about 40 mph (it's a nototrious junction) and no one was hurt. Her insurance company has accepted liability and they are paying for everything (dealer seemed to think there was £10,000 plus damage to my motor!), it's a ****in pain in the ass. I literally spent all day Wednesday and Thursday on the phone to various insurnace companies, hire car companies, the local car dealer in Belfast, care agencies and the hospital.
Got a hire car sorted on Friday, although it's now making some ****ing strange noises and tellin me it needs an "Emissions System Service." So looks like that's more phone calls tomorrow!
Then I was playing hockey yesterday and decided to try to stop a ball with my right cheek bone. Not sure if any one has tried it, but I wouldn't recommend it. It hurts like ****! I spent 2 hours in A&E with a suspected fractured cheek bone and blood pishin out of my face. Again, not something I'd recommend!
Turns out it's not broken, thank ****. But I now have 8 lovely stitches just under my eye and two shinning black eyes. I look like I went 10 rounds with bloody Mike Tyson! Thankfully I don't think it'll affect my incredible good looks!
To top that off I have just got a phone call to tell me that the treasurer at my old club died today. He was diagnosed with Cancer 3 months ago. TBF he was 70 and had had a good innings, but it's kinda rounded off my week! You really couldn't make this **** up!
Anyways, Happy bloody Christmas you bunch of bastards!!!!
