Right Poncho, here's the deal: either of us win and I get the Chirpa and you get the Wicket!

Great buys, Edd, and a generous trio of prizes, too. Looking forward to catching up next week. I'm sure it'll be a proud moment seeing all your acolytes in SWFUK T-shirts! (Even if most are twatted :D)

Great stuff, I love this thread, perfect antidote to all the high priced nonsense. Congrats to everyone and long it may it continue

Why hasn't this sold yet? £35 for a Palitoy MOC! Has been up for a few days and I've told various people about it but still there. Bargain IMO.

Looks very much a bargain and to be honest all his BIN stuff looks very well priced

There was a reasonable Rebel Commando Palitoy MOC on a stall at Celebration. £40 but exposed to the sun: yellow bubble and slightly faded card. Still, thought it a reasonable price. RC is a cool figure.

£22 buy it now on eBay!! Chuffed!

The Luke popped up on Sunday afternoon, just opened the app and got lucky!

Hate to think of all the bargains that must slip through!!

Hi Folks,

Picked up a Ree Yees ROTJ - 77 card MOC -.. good condition for £25 inc postage from ebay and a week later a Klatuu ROTJ MOC - Palitoy 65 Card Back for £26 inc postage - again decent condition.

Picked up this Jawa 12 back a few months ago for £45. Card is creased and the POP is ripped off, but still factory sealed. Printed off the lower left corner to fill in the gap and slid it into the case. Displays pretty darn good considering.

Good find

Looks a beaut 8)

Proper touch on this Jawa. Appreciating this thread more and more when I seen people "over the moon" with their $5k deal on Facebook.

There was an ERG moc for £35 on the Yavin facebook group a couple of days ago

You need to think like a none collector when searching! This is how you find the bargains. They dont know the value or really care and is reflecting in there packaging :( . Do not use the word vintage in searches is my key advice :)

Yeah I have only bought a few MOC's from Facebook groups. Many of the MOC's up for sale on FB groups are what I would call overpriced yet people over there seem to lap them up & say "Yes please" or "I'll take it" nearly straightaway. In general the best value for money MOC's that come up for sale on the FB groups are from our very own Iain Sanderson.

The majority of the cheaper MOC's that come up for sale on the FB groups (between £30-£50) are what I would call "beater" MOC's so if you want to buy a decent conditioned MOC from there you will need to pay £50 onwards (even for the most common MOC's) unless you get lucky & find a reasonably priced good conditioned MOC which is not often.

There are some good deals to be had and you can get some decent conditioned Vintage Star Wars MOC's for less than £50 (just not very often from Facebook groups!). The majority of the best MOC's I have bought have been from fellow forum members and SWFUK is the best place to find quality MOC pieces and the most reasonable prices (even though I'm still waiting for more MOC's that I need to come up for sale on the forum :))

This is a Lando moc I picked up from ebay for £50. It is a re-seal, but I really wanted a ESB palitoy for my collection and so it fit the bill nicely.

The gun is still attached to the tape, but both have migrated to under his arm.
