Vintage Star Wars Canadian Figure Case Valuation

Evening, after the scandal over '29 figure' gate I'm after a valuation on the figure case. Not dealt with any of these before so don't have a clue as to it's value and would greatly appreciate opinions from the many experts we have on the forum.

Here's a few pictures I've just taken, the case is in really excellent condition.

















The figures themselves were all pretty much mint and most have gone straight into my collection. The case comes with both trays and the original catalogues.

May I also state that if I do decide to sell the case then it will be via the for sale thread and not evil bay

Or are you curious if the figures you now have in your collection were a bargain or not, depending on the price the case is probably worth?

Nope, I didn't purchase the lot for the case, just for the figures and as such intend to sell on the case. As I said I'm looking for an approximate value inorder to sell the case on the forum.

It doesn't look like the case is worth a whole lot although you may do ok with the catalogues being with it. Also the link is 2 years old so that might make a difference.

Those figures did look mint so it's nice to pick them up in one go and although the whole thing was miss handled through this site it found it's price out in the wild. The main thing is that you're happy with the figures and maybe there are a few Canadian collectors on here who might be interested in the case.

Yes the link is two years old, so prices may have gone up a tad since then, however I'm no expert on cases. It's a starting block though :wink:

I've done some calculation (price incl shipping, minus sold stuff, so... if case and catalog brings him some 60$, he'll be left with 345 GBP for the figure lot. How many figures were there?

So roughly 12 Quids for each figure. Hmm, if they were that good lookin' ...

To be honest when I was bidding for the items I budgeted at around £10 each figure. As you say in the end I paid roughly £12 each which is still a good price. Some are better condition than others but the majority are excellent. Obviously at the end of the day an item is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. In regards to the case I'm hoping to get around the £30 mark for it. It isn't going on evil bay as I'd sooner it go to another collector on the forum.

I don't understand this. He bought the figures at the prize he stated. Doesn't want the case. Best place to sell. Here. Doesn't know what it's worth. Asks for a valuation.

Exactly, I know I've been away from the forum for a few months but some things seam to have changed. All I wanted to know was a rough estimation on the case inorder to sell it to someone else within the forum for a fair price to them, not me. As I've said the case is not wanted by myself, I do not want to profit on the item which is why I won't put it on E-Bay.

And I'll add that I've agreed a sale of the case with lucas1977, £30 plus p&p and I'm also giving him one of the stormies which came with the case and I'll be glad that it's staying within our community.
