Sorry to hijack your for sale thread but one of our members Lee (Palitoy78) had a very bad deal with you 11 years ago & could you tell us your side of the story please?

Here's a quote from a recent post of Lee's:

"I was ripped off for a lot of money in 2001 by Richard Torres to the amount of £600 which i didnt get back,nor has it been forgotten.It wasnt a case of i didnt know what i was buying,but more a case of trusting a seller which i though had good vibes in the community.It just happened to be a present from someone which i chose for myself,and he wouldnt return calls,emails or anything so that just left me very bitter."

IMO Mark makes a valid point above. I think this and any other issues such as Dennis need to be explained/resolved before any deals are struck. I am sorry to place the boards under disrepute guys. I only Knew him as "Richard" from Gumtree. If I had known his second name to be Torres or have an Ebay ID of "DarthPlageus" I would not have invited him to the boards. My sincere apologies. Liam

Richard,i'm sure Lee will reply to this when he see's it & remind you about your deal with him!

We've all seen people get second chances in this hobby but if you're going to come here & sell your items,you need to sort things out with Lee & anyone else that's had issues with you in the past!

Guys, lets leave this thread be until Lee posts, and even then can we let Richard respond first (or if they choose to do it by PM, can they please let us know if the matter is resolved)? I'm keen to avoid a bitch-fest.
This is of course assuming that Richard is still using his SWF ID.

For the record I've dealt with him on Ebay in the past with no trouble. If you pay with Paypal (not gift) then there should be no risk in giving him a try.

Don't want to throw fuel on the fire but I got the Hoth Luke baggie & it was indeed heavily discoloured which was very very disappointing if I am honest & put Dennis in a very awkward & I would imagine uncomfortable situation, though I do hope you will come back to the forum Richard & right your previous sales so you can clear your name on here & move on.

Torres,luminous beings,plaguis etc you are a ****ing thief and a liar. In 2001 you sold me a 12 back trooper and vader for 600 quid saying they were C9.when i receieved them they were far from that and had tag tears,touch up and bubble damage.i tried to contact you and left messages etc and you never replied.you knew full well what you had done you thief. Talk about coincidence but lee b was right aswell about the palitoy nametag figures. I originally bought all those palitoys fron toni e,and later sold them to bernie holmes who then unfortunately sold them to you.,and you had already sold the imp commmander as a perfect figure,and the buyer couldnt beleive it.

Alsn lads,this guy found a palitoy vcj,thats why my opinion on that is divided.he cant be trusted.
