This is a Palitoy Turret and Probot playset complete with instructions and inner packaging. This is a really tough box to find in very good condition, and whilst this one is not mint, it is nevertheless still in good / well above average condition, as anyone that's been looking for one will know only too well!

The box does have multiple rubs, scratches, abrasions, creases, dents and other marks (see photos), however it remains structurally sound and has very good colours. One of the end flaps does have spotted marks on the inside (see photos), but these do not rub off and are completely dry. Some of the other marks on the surface of the box are tough to see unless the box is angled just right in the light, and hence to try to capture these, I have also included some photos without flash as this captures them better than flash photos.

The inner packaging for this playset is extremely tough to find, however it is present in this set and is also in very good condition, with only minor marks, rubs, etc. The original Palitoy instruction leaflet is also present, and is also in good condition, but does have a few marks, creases and rubs, etc. (see photos).

The playset itself is in very good condition, with only minor marks and playwear (see photos). Please note that one sticker is missing from the back of the turret (see photo), and also that the pole the Probot sits upon is very slightly bent (although this does not affect its function / operation).

This set is notorious for the Probot's pole punching a hole through the Palitoy box. To prevent this, for transport / storage, I have temporarily removed the pole (see photos), by partially unscrewing the retaining screw, lifting and sliding the flat plastic piece holding it in place to one side, sliding out the Probot's pole, and then returning the flat plastic piece to its original position and re-tightening the screw (see photos). I have then placed the pole in a zip-lock bag and taped it with low-tack tape to the underside of the playset base (see photos). To reinstate the Probot's pole, simply reverse the procedure described above.

Overall this is a tough playset to find in good condition, and despite its flaws, this one displays superbly and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thank you and good luck!

You don't need to. If it sells now there's no fee, regardless of when it was listed

Hi, @lejackal - the way I read it, you still pay the OLD fee if it was listed before 1st October

Page 3 - the first message shows somebody listing at the weekend being charged fees
Page 4 - somebody asks about listings before today and being advised that they need to list them within the new 300 listing period, as until they are listed under the new rules they will attract the previous FVFs

Seen as there might be some doubt, rather than the old adage 'if in doubt, do nowt', in this instance I have removed all my current (70% FVF listings) and will be listing them again :)

@Snaketibe, up to you but I would err on the side of caution, end the ebay listing and list it as 'sell similar' if you haven't done so. Been unable to find anything definite out yet about listed items prior to today being charged fees

Oh, and apparently international sales STILL have fees, this is for UK to UK sales
:)

Listed 8/9/24 and bought today

Thanks @lejackal . I didn't get a message from Ebay until later in the afternoon about items already listed would have no fees to pay. Have attached a screenprint of the relevant part. Good to have proof as ebay customer reps don't always know the facts themselves
