Vintage Collecting doc?

Hi there folks,

I'd like to ask for any documentary or other sort of footage about Star Wars vintage.

I know/have/have seen "Plastic Galaxy: the story of Star Wars toys".

Do you guys know any other to enjoy this rainy week with a nice cup of tea?

Not really about the toys ...in fact not at all about the toys. But Empire of Dreams is the best Star Wars documentary going. If you can find that then it's 3 hours of SW bliss It came originally with a 90's box set but it is possible to pick up just that disc on eBay. Might be on Youtube.

There was an episode of Collectaholics on BBC that had a pretty big Star Wars focus, and also the US TV show Toy Hunter featured vintage Star Wars on quite a few episodes. Antiques Roadshow has had SW a few times too. It does pop up from time to time but other than Plastic Galaxy I don't know of any other documentaries wholly devoted to it.

Empire of Dreams is indeed one of the best documentaries. Too bad there is nothing similar for vintage collecting. Perhaps we should think about making one ourselves :wink: :mrgreen:
