Some crazy prices for non sealed items , you could pick up some on here or eBay a lot cheaper , or you used to be able too , see how the palitoy prices rise now !

Well I was well and truly out on my estimated DS hammer price of £10K!!! Still £5k after fees is still a very good price.

Some prices are really shocking, the DV Diecast price floored me! Really, that much for one of those on a Palitoy card? I know it's common on a Kenner card but no idea they were that scarce.

£500 for the Twin Pod?! £1500 for the X Wing?! Nice examples but holy ****, that's some serious 'Wedge'!

they were mental - my small wing DV TIE was cheaper than that Palitoy - people really are loving that logo.

To be fair - the die cast were totally mint, but with a real premium. Picked up a UKG80 Cruiser and Y-Wing for £140 each late last year + grading fees

The Death Star was actually £5,456 with fees and the X-Wing £1,860 :shock:

thought the Palitoy photos etc went very high too £2,604 with fees but as said before that AF Jungle Fighter prototype was a steal

The Action Man isnt too bad either - got a few bids on that but no wins yet. The Judo set was half the predicted estimate of £10k

As usual it's a total mash-up of what look like good prices and what look like high prices.

Luke 12 back £2.1k - good, Leia 12 back - £3k v.high, Greedo 20 back £3k - v.high, R2 12 back £1.4k - v.high, HST £1.1k - good.

I thought the Power Droid would go for more (£1.6k) because it seemed at one point that lots of people needed it to complete some sets but I guess that's still a hefty £2k after fees. I thought the Palitoy shipping box was good for £160 - I mean, chances of ever seeing one of those again is pretty slim isn't it?

Han Hoth see-sawed again - he seems to swing from £1k or so down to £600 or so and back again. This time it was £1.2k.

Plenty more auctions to come I suppose. And many more Death Stars

Yeah I ended up with the overpriced Han Hoth.
Missed the last 2 for various reasons so was determined to get this one to be done with it!

Well done to whoever got the HST for that price!

Han was the 30B which is a fair bit rarer than the A - edit - both were for sale, so the swing was there (sorry for the confusion)

I think I just won an Action Man Jeep and trade box but no alert as yet?

I remember buying the same jeep for £16 from a post office in Northolt in around 1981

The 'salesman photos' actually had 3 Chromalin type prints in with them, which is why they went so high. You never see palitoy prototypes like this.

that explains it - I suspect a few more salesmen may come out of the woodwork after today, you never know you may have a second shot
