Vectis 26th & 27th May

Out of interest does anyone know what those Palitoy Tree Tot things went for. They fetch quite a premium on eBay MIB

Why is it that on some of those boxed items it says 'not checked for completeness'?

Surely checking would be the right thing to do and may ensure a higher price?

What's the plug-in that you have to have downloaded and up to date to bid on the auctions? Am at work and can't download software onto the PCs here so would need to get one of the IT technicians to do it.

They do it to cover their backs. By saying not "not checked for completeness" the auction house holds all the cards because then full responsibility is with the buyer to check they know it's complete, rather than the other way round.

It is odd though - even when they include a picture of an obviously complete item, they still say unchecked for completeness. I suppose it removes any doubt as to who loses out in the event of a dispute.

But yes, I think it limits the price a bit as you say.

I presume you just press the button to bid on the vectis live auction? Never bid before using the vectis site. I think I put an £1800 bid
in on a 12 back trying to work out what the button did. Was outbid luckily!
