does anyone know if people in Texas get charged import duty ect, i sold a figure and the guy is kicking off saying if his country charges him import vat i should pay it LOL

I'm not sure if this is relevant " Due to additional security measures, Australia Post have advised that articles over 453g and all Express Courier International and Express Post International services will be subject to an additional $9 security surcharge and may face transit delays of up to 48 hours "
& this payable by the seller.

once im cleared out im done selling on ebay, what kind of tit head thinks im responsible for his countries import tax...if he was in touching distance he would get a slap right now.

ebay will be on your side with this. They state that any import duties are the buyers responsibility.

if he rejects the parcel though i will have to refund his postage costs, thats whats worrying me, it cost me £35 to send it, if he refuses the bill it comes back to me and then he asks for a full refund :(

No duty tax to my knowledge and the postal service here is for the whole United States (It does not differ by state). I receive packages from all four points of the world and have never paid anytype of tax as there is no existing import taxes for individual private sales to citizens of the USA....so I do not know what smoke he is trying to blow up your ass.

good to hear, maybe trying to pull a fast one on me and return it, either way as soon as his signature is on that fed ex delivery note he can kiss my ass

TFB is bang on the money. There is no import tax to be paid if you live in the good old US of A. You should'nt have anything to worry about.
