What do these words mean..........."color" "flavor" "labor" "analyze" "traveling" "offense" and "catalog"?

Also, why do you insist on pronoucing this word "paedophile" as 'pet-o-file'. There is no T in it!

I always remember in my cousin Vinnie when he was questioning a witness about how the grits were cooked.

As for biscuits, When I was in PA I popped into KFC and got biscuits with my chicken instead of fries, it was a big dollop, looked a bit like a rock cake, would have rather ate fries with it though.
Also went to a deli which on the menu stated beef and chip meal, now I know chips are fries in america and crisps are chips but I was still not expecting to get crisps with my beef lol.

Color- All the colors of the rainbow

Flavor- Gee the flavor of this beer is bitter.

Labor- Work

Analyze - What I do for a living and alot on this forum

Traveling - Going down the road.....being a gypsy.

Offence- Criminal infraction or what I am every day.

Pet- o file - Well considering the perves are into heavy petting...it makes sence.

....and to answer Lee...some restaurants are cheap and give you chips (crisps) with a sandwich....fries are more expensive.

Aaahh, the words are coloUr, flavoUr, laboUr, analySe, and travelLing!
At least you spelt Offence properly!

"Gaf/Gaff" is slang for your pad/house/home/flat etc. A "Flat" tends to be a few rooms taking up one floor/storey in a building.
They can be used almost interchangeably though, people will know what you mean.

"Ginger beer" is fizzy pop that is ginger flavoured, but has no alcohol in it. Why it's called ginger beer and not ginger coke or ginger-ade I don't know.

Look you give us a proper language and we **** it all up  ......Ginger beer must be the equal of "Ginger Ale " here. A flat sounds like an apartment...I take it that is the cheapest route to live in the UK.

I though ginger beer was a queer ;)

That's cockney.

Don't even get started on that, that will really confuse the Anglo-American dictionary we've got going here!
