This all gets us to the end of the world thread! Greedy humans consuming for their own needs lol

Sure, two people get happy (one with a U grade the other with a nice box) but did anyone ask the Wampa?! LOL

"did anyone ask the Wampa?" I did. His mouth was moving but I couldn't hear what he was saying. He's stuck in this ******* clear box

One day all these toys will come to life , break out of the acrylic and **** in the owners mouths! ( or is that just wishful thinking lol)

"break out..." or turn to dust exactly 12 months after grading. EDIT I can see it now, the grading tag says "I will self destruct in 1 year"

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some AFA fine print that says "We cannot guarantee your toy will be safe in one of our cases"!

Then again their FAQ is full of **** , I quoted a few over on RS related to pricing and valuing lol

Chris will be your best friend once he gets that U grade sandcrawler done :) Paul has a U grade Bluesnaggle for auction- we will see it's "true" value in a few days.

I don't get it. Does U stand for? U've been done mate?

I think grading/casing boxed stuff is a great idea as it keeps easily damaged packaging safe for the future but what is the point of opening it when you don't know what the condition of the creature/vehicle is like inside? Most Wampa's go yellow. What are they going to do, open every ****** until they get a good grade? What a waste

That is exactly what they they do Simon!

Hence all the recent ebay auctions like one that had 300 Cardbacks with bubble still attached (but sliced by the afa) most in v good condition.

LOL- That is the best I have seen! Nice spot! £600!! LOL

I have a U95! I think I should sell it and buy a house   crazy money

I would think you could buy a house in Romania from the proceeds of a U90 Leia Joe. And they'd throw in a cart and wagon for that price too!

Go smoke some more weed  If that was the case I would be happy to send the horse and cart over, I know you have always wanted one!

Do you get "Top Gear" in Romania Joe?
They were out in Romania driving on some road that Ceau?escu made. Bloody crazy road! Looked like a laugh to drive on though.

For anyone who doesn't get Top Gear in their country, it's actually well worth a watch. Great entertainment, even if your not a huge petrol head.

$795 for a AFA 95, $125 for a 90 !!!!!!!!!! Surely the difference would only be noticeable under microscope? The extra $670 (yep $670) is for :?:
