Yeah, I saw this first on RS, and thought wtf, are people colorblind??

This just goes to show who you are paying the big bucks to, to tell you what shape your figure is in. These guys are not even looking at the **** they are grading or they are borderline retarded. None of my stuff is graded and never will be. What do you expect from a group of individuals who started out by grading early 90's baseball figures (Starting Line-up). I think they are more focused on getting it cased, then moving onto twinkies, roleplaying games and internet porn....while their mom brings them their sack lunch from home.

Surely it looks grey because your looking at it through the acrylic case?? And I cant believe he wants $4000 for that, I would rather pay that for the carded one.

That's what I was thinking. Something to do with the angle of refraction.

Hm, been studying the pics more closely, and now it actually appears to have a light blue tint, so I guess you may be right,
first time I've seen an acrylic case distort light like that....

Seen that Auction! The seller is a tool! I remember Jim (JB1/Jimbody1) who also lives in Hull was interested in a MoC from him went to pick it up and the deal went very wrong cant quite remeber the ins and outs but stay away

Its piss funny, if you look at his recent sales all his U85's have been selling for £30 mark LOL

He will have made a huge loss on those now :)

I love how if you rip a DSC off a card its worth 2-3x more when it was moc, and 100x more than a mint loose figure.

if anyone does pay that then they are the reason people think toy collectors are tossers.

I have to agree. If anyone pays that much for a loose death squad commander............I am going to have to start my own grading business...........sure stupidity.

Thing is, from a businessman point of view, he is giving people what they want and making a shitload of profit out of it.

Just because in doesnt hold toys/moc to heart...money is money

i now 100% blame the buyer lol

This is insanity!

Like you say, plantman, the buyers are to blame. Surely when everyone eventually realises what these are actually worth, they will be massively out of pocket.

I've got a B-Wing Pilot on a cut card that I might U Grade for a quick profit.
