I hadn't looked on ebay for a while but just found these - surely no-one pays anywhere near these sort of prices for loose figures - U-Grade or not

I think they have stoppped selling though, hence why robbie is selling 104 in one lot, after buying the moc, posting it and paying for grading they aint making much profit surely.

Well if HMRC tag his ebay account he will be ****ed, i was worried about mine but his sales are in a different league.

Jesus, that's a LOT of MOC's!

HMRC would have a field day with him, although surely they must know about him, there's no way he could make his living from selling SW without having had to declare his income and or some details about his 'company' etc.

If he's been doing it under the radar and not declaring it (and I've no reason to suspect he's been that dumb) he's running a ****ing huge risk!

do you still have to pay customs charges into Ireland - I though the deal was that if you sent items of to the States for grading then you had to pay charges when they came back

Robbies based up north, so we get the same customs regs as the rest of the UK.
If he has the same luck as me he gets stung every single ****ing time!
Although, I think you can claim it back if the items have only been sent for grading as (the argument goes) the value of the item hasn't been changed.
Not 100% sure TBH

if the item is being returned to you, you can have it marked and it bypasses customs, but the knobheads always ignore the label and charge you anyway, testing your patience to be bothered to fill in a form to claim it back.

although if you use fedex they charge you customs AFTER they have delivered the parcel so you can refuse to pay, thats what i did, and when i explained they cancelled the charge.

Some of the guys on here keep banging on about this kind of thing and certain dealers. But I actually think it is a good thing that they do. It isn't falling on deaf ears ... well, I'm listening anyway: there are loads of times I haven't offered or bought stuff because of who is selling it. All because of people outing them on forums.

That seems a very good price for 25 MOCs tho. It works out at about £73 an moc. :shock:

Lol - yes he did - I don't think he likes me very much - the seller also sent me a message asking me what was going on - so I told him what would be likely to happen to his lovely carded collection

I know people have to make a living, and I have no issue with people buying and selling but what he does is just plain wrong - and the more people that realise this the better as then demand will drop and people like Robbie will stop doing it
