trilogo carded jawa on ebay uk !

when buying on ebay i dont look at old auctions i always refresh the new items listed option and it works a treat ! i have got a few tasty items this way but i was mighty close to this jawa !

slim

Well I would have bought it slim to be honest if the BIN was £110! You made an offer? now that is cheeky on £110

Quite a deal....that's ****ing amazing if someone got it at that price.

****, I didn't see that. I have a graded Tri Jawa that cost me quite a bit more than that.

That's a bloody steal if that was a genuine purchase.

Not that James Gallo is particularly cheap but to give you some idea of its value :

Even if you knock $2,000 off that price above you still have a good deal at £110!

If I may be so bold Burnsy, what was the ballpark figure that you paid for yours mate?

I understand if you don't want to say, no probs :)

I hope the seller comes through for the buyer, regardless of who grabs the deal, there are some nasty people that always try and hustle the buyer in private to sell outside the auction, its happened before and will happen again..

NO FOLKS ! when i seen the auction the starting price was £20 quid ! and NO buy it now option , i realized what it was and offered 50 quid ....i should have offered 100 or 200 even on looking back . someone else got lucky and offered 110 so the seller put a buy it now for 110 !

Ouch, well thats the way it goes, tell you something though, whenever I email to try and get the seller to stick a buy it now on the item they normally get back to me a day later and say "sorry I was out but the item has now sold, thanks for your enquiry" why go out if you might get questions

Joe, I was kinda lucky at the time and bought it for a price where the seller didn't quite know what it was worth even though he was a Jawa collector.

I think the only other person I told was Ron for what I paid, but I know it should have gone for at least £1000. Mine's an AFA 50 so it's in a mess, but I think only 5 have ever been graded.

It's a bloody rare MOC, more rare than a vinyl caped Jawa

Well I still think you got a great MOC regardless of condition and price Burnsy, you can't say many people have one of those!

This is really cool though I truly hope its real and the buyer actually receives it!

Great story and thanks slim for showing us the auction! Now all thats left to wrap this one up is in a months time to see that cardback next to a "U" graded trilogo Jawa on ebay
