After the success that @Snaketibe had with his request for an accessory swap, I thought I would also try my luck…

I have the need for a M1 Jawa blaster, I have an extra M3 to swap.

I'm appealing to collectors that don't care about factory matched accessories (i.e. non OCD sufferers) or someone with a spare.

I'm happy to pay the postage if someone wants to swap or buy if you have a spare.

Really hoping that someone can help as my little Jawa is feeling un-loved at present…

Picture for help if required.

This is what I've got. No idea if they're M1 or M2. I really struggled to get a decent pic- sorry!

Hi @Cazza ,
Thanks for your help, it's really appreciated.
I never used to care either, but it gets under your skin and eats away at me every time I look at them!
I don't want to put you to any trouble, but…can you see if the bump is longer than others on any of them as in this attachment?
Number 4 down looks a likely candidate.

@Snaketibe can you have a look at these for me. Ta.

Nick, they all look the same.
Cheers Andy,
I suspect they are all M2 then.
Thanks for trying.

Out of interest are any of these for sale? I'd be interested in the fourth one down.
Cheers

Hi Nick,

As per my email reply, I have studied Andy's pics, and I'm afraid I simply cannot be sure. It is very kind of Andy to offer to help, but it can be very difficult to photograph a tiny blaster in sufficient detail and clarity to give us what we need for a positive identification. It's simply not every camera that can do that, and I'm afraid the photos, good though they are, simply aren't sufficiently large, bright or sharp enough (or taken from the right angle) for me to be completely sure about any of them. I'm pretty confident the bottom 3 are not Unitoys (although again, even there I would want to see larger, brighter, sharper photos to be completely sure), and I doubt either of the top two are either, although I am far less confident of those. The real issue is we cannot see the button from its side, and hence cannot be sure of its length. And also, when the photos are taken with the blaster side-on, as they have been above, we also need to have each gun be dead centre in the photo to see the relative position of the button to the edge of the blaster, as well as the button's base, since there are slight differences to be seen there too between the Unitoy and the Kader (as well as the horribly similar mould defects to the right of the button).

It seems pretty obvious at this point that the Unitoy version is by far the scarcest of the 3, but even when you do finally see one, positively identifying it as such is bloody difficult!

Sorry, mate- need them all. Would only consider a swap.
No problem, totally understand.
I would also like to thank you for going above and beyond for me, it's very kind of you.
All the best
Nick

Thanks so much for the second opinion.
I thought they were all M2 blasters so I'm obviously getting a bit better at this game?
It does seem that the M1 is harder to find…oh well the search continues.
All the best
Nick

Sorry again about the pics. I looked at the bumps from the side and they all look identical, I'm afraid.

I would love to try to help, but I am new to all this correct weapon for correct figure stuff and I am sure it will take me years to get through all my figures and weapons. But I would love to begin soon with looking at all my jawas to see if I have the weapon you need, maybe I have a M1 Jawa blaster that I do not need, and maybe I need a M3 when I am done checking them all. But it will take me a lot of time to check them. The only thing I know so far is that I have more jawas than blasters :ROFLMAO:

That would make perfect sense as they all look like M2 side on.
I really appreciate you taking the time in the first place.
