tri logo moc first 12 price please

I looked at the prices of the guide joe but all the moc I see on sale even on facebook tri logogroup are 3/4 times more expensive?

The price list is a year old as I mentioned on the post and prices have risen in that time but I've still seen almost all of those figures sell for between the prices on the guide multiple times this year.

You only have to look through completed listings on ebay.com or even Vectis (to my amazement) to see some great Trilogo figures at even better prices over the past 6-12 months.

If your intention is to put together a "first 12 set" on Trilogo in the next 6 months (or less) then you can but it's going to cost you more than if you took a year or longer to complete your goal. It's totally your choice, you either take your time and save yourself some money or you pony up silly money and put together a set in 2 weeks.

PS: Please remember the price list was written with ungraded "C8" conditioned figures in mind and excludes all hard to find variations. Of late there have been a lot of Meccano variations for sale on the group and/or graded MOC.

Just did a quick search for you. Some of these aren't as recent as I would have liked but this should at least give you some hope..it's not as if this data is 10 years old after all. I'm sure if you did some more digging you would find some great prices out there in the last year or so too. You really have to cast a wide net when it comes to buying SW, think about going to local shows, checking all the various auction sites out there, local classifieds and remember to check ebay constantly (especially for funky listings or cheap BIN's).

I hate to say it but I rarely see a great priced Trilogo on FB, even in my own group. I try my best to give realistic valuations but I can't dictate what people ask for their items. Collectors have become too interested in profit margins and making money to let anything go for a decent price (well all except Iain perhaps!) so my advice is just ignore the asking prices and do the leg work yourself. Vectis get such a large volume of items through that there are bargains to be had and as I said ebay is a good place to source figures from too.

Super thank you joe, I did not know vectis I will watch now, and watch ebay too, i have time i'm not in the hurry.

Yes 100% agree with Joe, although most people will try and scare you away from eBay it is still the best place to find things for the lowest prices. But you have to put the effort in, buying the first Buy It Now figure you see will rarely be the cheapest route.

Here's a perfect example of the kind of eBay listing you need to look for:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172463908780

So many things wrong with this listing - name wrong (Hans Solo), no mention of it being trilogo, and not even carded or MOC in the title. Most people will miss this.

(By the way it's generally frowned upon to 'out' auctions, but as this has a yellow bubble and is in crappy condition so is hardly a bargain, I think it's fine in this case)
